Hiya,

Does anyone think that the temperature of your bedroom affects your BBT?

I think i ovulated on Tuesday and yesterday (Weds) my temp was 36.64 (97.95), i was hoping it would increase more but today it went down to 36.52 (97.73), which isnt that high for me.

Last month after my ovulation my temps were between 36.7 (98.06) - 36.9 (98.4) and went upto 37.04 (98.70) at one point.

When i woke up, i felt a bit cold, my feet were sticking out and we slept with the window open.

Do you think this would affect my BBT or shouldn't it make a difference?

I am really confused as i'm not sure i ovulated this month, i never got a really strong +'ve opk and my temps were the only think making me think i did, but with this dip at 2DPO im not so sure :nope:

I think your bedroom temp definitely affects it! If you look at my chart you can see a spike early on in the cycle (well for my cycles it's early), but those two days it was SO HOT! and we hadn't turned on the air conditioning yet. Now, with my current spike which FF is tentatively showing as proof of ovulation, the same thing happened. On CD46 and 47 my temp went up, but it was hot out and we just had our windows open and a fan. For CD 48's temp though, I finally convinced DH to turn on the air conditioning the night before so we slept with that AND with a fan. So maybe this one is actually ovulation since it stayed a little higher? I hope so!

I don't do OPKs to cross check though. I do sometimes check my cervical mucus but haven't got a good consistent habit of doing it the same time every day.

Hoping that yours was ovulation! :)
