Tesco Christmas Delivery Slots

Hi,

Just to let you know if anyone is interested, I have just managed to book my christmas delivery slot from Tesco for Saturday 22nd, it goes upto the Sunday 23rd. I didn't get an email or anything, I just logged on and was able to book a slot.

Hi can i just ask have you got the super saver delivery, were you pay upfront
Because mine will only go up to 16th dec.

Yay mine is showing up to the 23rd too so just booked, i thought they were supposed to let us know when they were released though as i wouldnt have been a happy bunny if they were all filled up.

Ooo thanks, I have super saver delivery so shall get myself one booked. I only normally book a slot and buy my groceries straight away (where they only hold it for 2 hours), how do you actually book, do you have to check out now to hold your slot for that far in advance?

I had to book it and put a load of things in my basket upto the value of £40 and check out as normal and then nearer the time I will go in and re-do it x

Ah I thought that may be the case. I might do like 5 bottles of baileys or something to bring it to 40 pounds haha yum although that is a lot of baileys, I must remember to change it!

I've gone for an evening delivery...do you think I'd get good vegetables at this time? Also do you ever 'tip' your delivery driver?

I would think the vegetables will be fine as they will have so many in stock that weekend, I don't normally tip the driver but I may give a little something as it's christmas!! I see you're in Essex too - we may end up with the same delivery driver lol!! x

I did it last year and they must've given me all their 'about to go out of date' products!

I had loads that didn't even make it till Christmas Day!

This year i'm going myself at night so i can pick and choose the longest use by dates
