**That Was It - C-Section** Baby Pics

I know im late, I had a scheduled C Section on May 31, 2012 @ 8AM. I had to have a C Section due to a low lying placenta. This is all of what they did:

• I went in
• They started IV
• Gave me something to drink to settle my stomach
• Walked me in the Operating Room
• Numbed my lower back -- then gave me a Spinal
• They laid me on the table and inserted a catheter
• Put up a big screen so I couldnt see
• Straped my arms down on both sides
• They got started right away and then called DH in to sit by me
• About 5-7 minutes passed and they told DH to snap pictures
• He wasnt able to cut the cord but he was able to take two really good pics
• They wrapped the baby up and let me see the baby and we eskimo kissed
• They had a police officer escort DH and New Baby to the Nursery
• They gave me a tubal -- sealed me up with skin glue
• Sent me to the Recovery Room for 1 hour
• Up to my room to re-visit my DH, Family and New Baby

Oh yea .. My scar looks really good .. the Doctor was really good .. I had an all Female Team .. They were the Best! Im still recovering as it has only been 9 days since I gave birth .. but so far so good...

Thanks ladies .. not sure why the police officer .. I guess its the hospital's way of doing things with newborns .. recently .. there was a woman who tried to steal a newborn .. she put the baby in a large purse but because the baby had an alarm on her .. it signaled the alarms... she was caught and is in jail .. I didnt know I just happened to see a picture and asked my DH about it and he told me they escorted him .. the nurse and baby to the nursery ...

Im just glad that its over now .. she wakes up once at night to eat .. get changed .. and then back to sleep .. we are pretty loud people so she is used to noise .. you never have to "keep quiet" so she can sleep .. lol ..

I have an 18 year old son and a 15 year old son who just love her to bits .. so she is already a spoiled baby ..
