Do not wear white! No explanation required.

Do not wear black...in case they spit up on your shoulder and down your back, just like what happened now.

Any others?

 fab thread leeanne:

don't dress LO till just before leaving house, they're bound to do something on a clean outfit!

don't leave the house without bib/muslin etc. they're bound to spit up and you don't have anything to hand :dohh:

go to get professional pics when they have just woken up! moody face lol

xx

Don't realistically think you're going to get a second to yourself for the next 15-18 years.

Don't forget to use a change pad or you WILL end up with pee all over the place, just cause you forgot.

Don't expect that cute little outfit to last. Put on something semi nice first till they get their on-cue throw up over, THEN dress them in their real outfit. :D

i do this regularly :)

Don't assume when the house gets quiet that you'll have time to actually do something for yourself, because right when you start you'll be interupted!

Don't think you'll ever eat a meal at the right time! My girls always get fussy right when i'm about to eat dinner usually, it's like they know what's happening!

Don't forget, baby ALWAYS comes first! So forget about straightening your hair or doing your nails, because LO needs to be changed, bathed, fed, and so on . .

Don't leave the house without a least one little toy, because fits are bound to happen and you're gonna need something to distract them!!

Don't ever fool yourself that your baby is quiet and behaving, she's just thinking about the next mischief.

Don't even fantasize about a long warm bath, it's less painful if you say goodbye right now.

Don't think that you'll ever have alone time in the bath. Baby sits in the bouncer for the first while. After, when they start walking, they barge in. Later on, when potty trained, they are banging at the door to go to the washroom.

Don't ever think that you can have a conversation on the phone in peace.

Don't ever think you are caught up on laundry.

Don't ever think you will have a clean house.

Dont ever think you'll enjoy a cup of tea without sharing.

Dont ever think you will get out of the house in less than twice as long as it took prebaby.

Dont think just because your running to the store REALLY QUICK you can forget the diaper bag--this is always when stuff happens: poo diapers, spit up, or they scream the place down because their want a bottle an hour before they are due another one.

Don't think you'll ever go out to another restaurant without either leaving the restaurant before you eat, holding a cranky baby the entire time (alternating bouncing baby up and down to keep her entertained or rocking her to try to get her to sleep), and getting stared at because your table is by far the loudest in the nearby vicinity.

Don't underestimate the room-clearing abilities of a toddler.
Don't change the routines, or you will rue the day :D
Don't sweat the small stuff, in the grand scheme of things, does it matter?

Dont let them chase your cat around the house...because the cat will usually win at one point or another.. hahaaha

Don't put clothes on your babies when they eat,lol (then no need for washing)

Dont ever think your able to have something to eat or even a snack without the kids moaning they want some of it.

Dont ever leave your hair down, its either going to be pulled or have sick in it by the end of the day :dohh:

XxX

dont makes plans or set a time ull never make it on time
dont buy new carpets
dont bother cleaning the patio door windows

dont think you will ever have a hot cup of tea again

Don't think you will get a hot or even warm cup of tea again:rofl:

Don't leave the house without looking in the mirror! Wearing baby sick on the shoulder is not a good luck!

Don't expect to get a good night sleep - on the rare nights you do sleep well, it's a bonus :D

Don't think you can leave the house quickly, by the time baby is changed, fed, burped and napped it'll be at least an hour later than expected

xx
