the hamster lives on

so as the days go on and I still feel the hamster in my lower tummy I'm deciding more and more that this feeling must be baby.
But it's not always a nice feeling...
is it possible that baby moving could be uncomfy this early?

It really is like a feeling of something kicking or digging around where it shouldnt be.
It can happen when I'm busy or quiet. I can be sitting sit and suddenly go "ooh!" as I get one of the hamster twinges. Not quite "ouch" but nearly!
It can move about and only happens a few times a day, always in different places.

It's certainly not the fluttery or bubbly feelings I was looking out for!

No one else experienced this?....

I'm sorry I haven't experienced this, or any movements really yet. :hugs: I hope it gets better for you though.

thanks. it's not enough for me to be truely in pain, but it's not the gentle flutterings I was expecting that's for sure!!!!....IF it's baby..

guess no one else has felt this...I'll ask my doc when I see him in a couple of weeks!!!

Uncomfy early movements..is it possible?!
It could be a butterfly flapping...if the butterfly has boxing gloves on?!
Ah well....it's not enough to really hurt so I'll try and not worry!..

The uncomfortableness is probably your uterus stretching?

tinytoes-I have been getting alot of different movements and recently some have felt like very slight twinges of almost pain but also a poke (does that make sense?lol) very brief but always more than once in the same spot so maybe the same feeling you are getting. Mostly my LO does acrobatics and it feels like it is doing somersaults but it's still an amazing feeling:headspin:

Yesss thanks wannbamommy...I am not alone!!

That's it - a poke! maybe our babies are just grumpy?

Dont think it's stretching pains...it's mroe localised to one spot - though this spot can move...and it can be like twitches / pulses. god it's so hard to explain feelings sometimes isnt it!!

I had a spot on my right side where babies movements felt like I was bruised inside in that spot, but that's probably not the same thing?

seems a bit early for bruises...unless I'm growing the next lenox lewis?! heheheh stranger things have happened.

Well you never know! The amount mine was moving on the scan I was supprised my uterus hadn't gone on strike :|

The only way I can explain it to others or in my head is that baby is mad at me and kicking/punching a sensitive spot lol i sometimes feel the twinges near my ovaries and I have large cysts on both and sometimes feel it low maybe cervix punches or bladder punches? It never hurts in the middle though so that's why it makes sense to me. Pretty cool nevertheless and I am beginning to be able to feel very slight movements outside with my hand!!!

that makes me feel so much better...I'm not just mad!
Mostly i feel it by the ovaries too. but it has been central as well.

thanks.

You'll both be waking up to moving bellies in a few weeks and all these small movements will be a distant memory! Write them down, I wish I had!

Also at my last u/s I could see LO draw a leg up to nearly it's chest then wham! it'd kick it out lol and alternate legs. I think I'm having a soccer player hehe they are so flexible and active it's weird

I've been meaning to record everything in a calender or something! I'll have to remember to do that tomorrow thanks

I didn't have any feelings untill I was about 22 weeks, but hey people are all different! It is probably your uterous streching!! xxx

Awww you have a hampster??? I have a gerbil in there (they have longer sharper claws) LOL! I know EXACTLY what you're talking about- I've been feeling that for about two weeks now! It feels like baby has nails or is biting me (that's what I always say "Quit biting me!"). It's really uncomfortable for US but baby is fine! They have PLENTY of room in there, which is why baby is moving waaaay too much LOL. I think mine is blowing bubbles??? I don't know what it is, but where baby is kicking right now, I feel bubbles and it's NOT gas!!! How wierd!:hugs:

bless them...all the little hamsters and gerbils
glad i'm not alone in this!!!
