Yes, we have a wee routine, but her sleep is very random. some nights she's only up once, others 6/7times. I've even got her naps sorted a bit during the day so you think that'd help! She'll have 30/40mins in the morning and about 1.5- 2 hours in the afternoon.
Ah well, what's the plans losers? I'm off to the Chinese supermarket with my parents. Then the pram centre for car seats.

Hope everyone is good, we're settling back in at home fine, well until the whirlwind that is Tabitha comes home from my parents this afternoon!
Feeding going well so far, still BF (3days, go me!) but I'm expressing a wee bit too and he is is taking a bottle too so Malc can help out. Forgotten what a pain in the ass a section is, hobbling about like an old lady and it's bloody lovely outside. Wish I could take him for a proper walk!

Glad things are going well Michelle, he's really a beautiful boy. Is the discomfort as bad as the emcs? Im sorry to ask, its just I wonder whether to go for elective c sec next time. Enjoy having your wee family back together
Well, fail on the car seat front! I fancy an ERF for us, but the grandparents wanted one each, just FF ONES or rear face til 22lbs. but my mums car only fits really expensive ones... I've to take MIL down on Monday to see what fits in hers.
Then we went for lunch, then Asda where my parents bought my shopping and then home to theirs where I await my DH, he's coming for dinner, a curry!

Well, we went pick the cake up this morning and I cried.... Not with happiness but because our supposedly reliable cake maker, who I will say makes amazing cakes really had let my expectations down! I paid £80 (was meant be £90 but we have discount) for a "2 cake but moulded together" mickey 3d siluette cake. She opened the box and says "i have a confession" basically she had gone against my wishes and just curved around the cake and put an iced mickey on top. She said she was worried I was loosing too much cake cus of the cut out. Now, we had already had this conversation and agreed that's why she had do 2 round cakes to make the figure and she knew I knew that a lot of the cake would be cut out but I was fine with that. The most important thing was the image of the cake. I wanted it be special, different and unique. Don't get me wrong, the cake still looks brilliant but just not what I wanted. I was honest and told her and then I got all upset. She then said she didn't want paying for ir. i then felt awful cus she was up till 5am finishing it off this morning but she wouldn't have a penny off me.
Anyway, I was iffing and rrring over weather hire a real life mickey to come join the party and I've booked it this afternoon. He's coming to hold the cake when we sing happy birthday and then spending the last hour of the party playing with the kids.

Nothing much planned for the rest of the day. Only a trip to mothercare. Don't think AM's going to give up the morning and night time bottle soon so I want to buy 2 new ones as the old ones look a bit manky now! When does it become really inappropriate and frowned upon for LO to still be taking a bottle for milk?

Also when should they be feeding themselves i.e. scooping and feeding from the bowl? I'm panicking that AM's becoming lazy!! Or that we've made her lazy!

Was the party good Fabby? Everything you had planned sounded ace!
Have decided to give up the BF, 5 days and I don't think I can take the constant baby on boob and sore nipples feel like a shit mummy but this happened with T so I know I'll get over it.... Plus it's been pretty hard work BF on demand with 2 of them and I have tons of help so I'm really panicking about doing it on my own. Just ignore my rabbling, silly hormones

Well done danielle! I was reading the slimming world thread yesterday and saw that you had lost so much yet had 3 takeaways! How the hell did you manage loose! I would of put that on!
We've been to town get final stuff. Just need get fresh bread Sunday morning now. Was in Tesco and noticed some knee high gorgeous tan boots reduced from £26 to £7 so couldn't put them back down then noticed an animal print top reduced from £12 to £7 so had that too but when I got to the till it was reduced down to £2! Couldn't believe it! Bout time got some bargains out of that place! Spend so much in there on bloody groceries

I have no idea...will catch up with me tho lol


We had to go out and buy a new car seat last night :/ our's has stopped "clicking" when you fasten it, and when it does click, if you pull the strap it sometimes comes undone, so didn't want to risk it. Went and bought a group123 and going to email the compony we got the old one from. Its a birth to 4years one, but we've only been able to use it for a year!
