I've been up for an hour with Jen, she's got a temp, so I've put her in a pj top and 2 cellular blankets. Do you think that's ok? Im so clueless! just feeding her back to sleep. I have no idea what's wrong. I've totally panicked.

Oh poor Jen Fliss had a low fever the other night and has a snotty cold - i still put her to bed in her sleepsuit and 1 tog sleeping bag, and she woke in the night crying so I gave her some calpol and some water. Her temp didn't go up, it went down a teeny bit before the calpol, so I don't think she was too warm.. Although it's horrible when you don't know what to do isn't it I hope she feels better soon! x

Yo! Nats had her operation yesterday, and is recovering by sleeping lots! Will update when I know more...

IBS got me again today Just as I thought it may have been a phase, it's come back. Called in sick from work as the time I was supposed to be getting ready for work I was throwing up every 10 minutes! I'm still really dubious if it is IBS to be honest as sickness is such a rare symptom. However I haven't have a 'normal' poop in weeks now, always something strange about them, sorry TMI and that is a major symptom.

Wishing Nats lots of get well dust. Hope her OH is helping out a bit at last.

House viewing went well. We both really like it. Taking my parents to see it tonight as it's always good to get a fresh pair of eyes to give a second opinion. Not sure if the estate agent is playing a sneaky game as they've suddenly had an offer that might be acceptable to the seller. I think they're trying to see how keen we are. We don't need to move and can save quite a bit a month while stayingg in the flat so we aren't going to feel pressured and rush into something.

sapphire. Whats happened between you and OH? Anything in particular or is it a build up of things?

ps, well done Jen for the steps. I think it took AM about a week, maybe slightly more from doing random 2,3,4,5 steps to walking all the time. Even when she could walk a fair distance, like across the room, she still prefered to crawl for a bit! x

blondey, IBS is awful isn't it!! It had me housebound for a while Have you had any tests done to see if there's anything else causing it, and are you in any medication for it? Hope you feel better soon

Blondey, that doesn't sound fun at all us there anything else the doctor can do? I'm having my first pp period (I think!) and I'm cramping like hell. Both kids are asleep (well Hayden is almost asleep!) so I'm popping feminax and eating chocolate on the sofa whilst watching gossip girl.
No, T isn't walking, she might to a few steps to reach things whilst holding onto the sofa but if yu try and hold her hands to walk her, little bugger flips her legs up to sit down! I'm sure she'll do it when she is ready, but she does love standing against everything and clambering on everything too!

Jen had a good day at her grans, I had to go to work. But she's not ate much dinner and is listless and weepy. Her temp has gone down. I'm so worried. But DHs aunt, a nurse says she's prob ok. but she's had wet/dirt nappies and ate well during the day. I've got her sleeping on me on the sofa.

Are they sure it's IBS Blondey? Your symptoms seem very severe. I had it too and was on medication for a while, but I've been fine the last few years. Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry you've been having problems too Vixie We should start a crap husbands club I think he's having a bit of a mid life crisis tbh. He doesn't love me anymore, won't even put kisses on texts I'm still completely fixated on the mc and him not wanting to ttc, which has obviously made me a bit of a grumps so he's said I've changed. He has got too used to living without me half the time, SD still has mental health issues and we have barely 2 pennies to rub together. He's not happy at work either, so doesn't have anything to make him happy at the moment. I'm hoping that moving back to Aberdeen will change things, and if not then I'll be on the lookout for another man

I can't promise that Scottish men are any better sapphire! of course you will change, you both do! And you've had a hard time. I wish we could make things better, but maybe spending more time together and the move will help! I hope so.
