The losers club

Great news Michelle :) I think Holly was 4 months when I took her off the ranitidine, there was a point where it seemed to make her worse rather than better

Haven't got a definite date yet, need to find a flat first. DH went to a group viewing - there were 5 people looking at one flat at the same time! Competition is fierce lol. On the plus side, we've managed to up our budget to 550 pcm. That will still only get us a 1 bed :haha:

He started projectile vomiting everytime I gave him some so I thought bugger this!!

God, its so expensive up there! 550 would get you a 3 bed here.
Ah good stuff Michelle, he's clearly doing well.
Not a great night, Jen is very quiet today, think she's going to be ill. :dohh: my mums taken her out in the big silver cross for a walk and hopefully a sleep! She's sitting up singing in a wee sun hat and the sun canopy up, she looks adorable. :) I'm finishing off the dolls house.

Aww I bet she looks adorable!

Me and Maria went to the park and then to the shop where she waved at everyone and now she's having a nap on the balcony

Where are you Lettuce?! We're paying £500 for the tiniest 1 bedroom flat :dohh:

Aw bless Jen and Maria!

It's like that in Aberdeen too Modified, I used to pay £525 for a one bed that was barely big enough to swing a cat. I've seen plenty of studio flats for £550 too  Trust DH to get a job in the most expensive place in Scotland :haha: Mind you, thats better than where I grew up. My first one bed flat was £650, and then I got a 2 bed for £750. And I grew up in the shittest place in Britain

I was in a HUUUUUGE 2 bedroom flat (seriously, it was massive.. 2 double rooms, each with en suite and a shower room and a bathroom with 3 walk in closets in the hallway) and paid £650 a month... it's so weird round here, either stupidly cheap for what it is or hideously expensive for what it is...

My one bed flat is 650 euros a month but it does have a sauna

Our mortgage would be about 750pcm but we only own 75% of the flat so only pay 514. Its a 2 double bedroom with bathroom and ensuite and a balcony that you can sit a 4 seater table on and a storage shed thing! Not bad for only a 20minute train journey till you can jump on london underground. Houses round here are expensive. You're looking at about £250k for a decent 3 bed. You can get a smallish 3 bed for about £180k but it's in a grotty area!! OH looked at on online calculator thingy and if instead of saving each month we put the money on top of the mortgage we could pay it off in 3 years  think that might be a plan if we don't end up moving!!

Glad H is off the meds Michelle! Reflux is like the devils ailment. It's horrendous and AM only had it mildly!!

What's your plan for moving then Saph? Move into a one bed to get your foot in the door up there and then maybe look for a job?

Hope Jen doesn't end up ill Lettuce!! Maye she's teething and a bit under the weather and feels a bit sorry for herself.

While the couple were here viewing the flat we were out on the balcony and AM was all excited and showing off how cute she was and she walked straight into the glass panel of the balcony. The donk noise was massive. We waited for the cry but bless her I think she was embarassed! She was looking round to see if anyone saw!! I swear that girl was a pinball in an earlier life. She's always bouncing off furniture!!

:haha: AM, gawd bless her!

Me, work?! Nah, I'd rather be skint than have to work again  We will be in a 1 bed for the forseeable future as we'll still have the mortgage to pay. Will be close to a grand to pay for mortgage and rent, and that's not including council tax. Our house is so far in negative equity we can't sell it. We remortgaged to pay for the chance to have Holly :haha: DH earns good money, we're only so poor cos we have loaads of debt. We owe 10 grand on credit cards, and owe at least twice that to his parents who bailed us out  We have been seriously budgeting for a year now, so we are making good progress.

Phew Sapphire, I don't think you should go back to work either! We're skint too so we'll have to do loads of free days out :)

Debt sucks - luckily all I have is my student debt and they don't know where I live

Maria keeps climbing into her high chair then crying cos she can't climb down, I take her down and she climbs back in :dohh:

Seriously though, it's the cost of childcare that makes it pointless. I'm not doing a job I hate, just to hand over half my wages. It's not like I have any family we can rely on to help out a bit.

Uh Oh, Holly's at the DVDs again

Half your wages? Childcare must be cheap where you are :haha: Here I'm looking at about £1100 a month for full time 8-6 childcare. Wages wise I'm only only £250 a month worse off and I'm doing 2/3 of my f/t hours. And to go back full time, the extra child care would be waaaaaay more than the £250 extra wages I'd be getting!

The only debt we have is my student loan and they've for about as much hope getting that back as I have of AM walking over to me right now and singing the national anthem!! I earn about £500 under the payment threshold so I don't pay anything at the moment!! And after 25 years it's wiped off. 4 years down, 25 to go!!

Hola losers :) Ended up getting my lower knuckles tattooed instead of finishing my thigh cause I dreamed of them last night and couldn't wait any longer xD

I'm debt free! :happydance: well, apart from my car and mortgage... :(
:rof: at AM.
Jen was quiet all day, it was quite peaceful. :haha: no doubt she'll make up for it tonight!
I don't want to go to work, I want to stay home and take Jen to baby club, and bake banana bread... :(
Jen had a shot in all three of her prams today! It was lovely weather here.
Raging at DH as he disappeared back to the flat for 2 hours and basically made more mess, didn't think to tidy anything. Next weekend I'm disappearing for a few hours myself :growlmad:

Ohhh what's the tat like? Btw, I'm in glasgow.

i got wee pictures on my lower knuckles. I'm too lazy to repost but they're in my journal (link's in the sig) if you wanna see :haha:
