The losers club

Hi losers, not been in here for ages! Hope you're all well, been keeping up with most of you on FaceyB.
Don't talk to me about money, I'm frigging fed up to the back teeth of budgeting. I am not good at sticking to a budget. We're not poor but we're definitely not well off either. I don't earn a lot with me only working part time and luckily our childcare is free. We have around £3500 on credit cards which we try to pay £400 a month off. However we may have to half that payment as it looks like I'm going private for CBT which will cost us £200 per month. Blah.

:hugs: oh no, how come you're having to go private? That's ridiculous! The wait up here is 12weeks ATM, which is still annoying, but I must be halfway through it by now...

Damn, can't believe it's Monday. Im shattered, this baby stuff is hard work.

My therapist wanted to get me on a self esteem group whilst waiting for CBT (which she said would be quicker than CBT) there would be a place for me in October  so who knows how long I'd be waiting for CBT.
I'm tired too lettuce, A was a pain in the arse last night an has got the chops on today too. Dolls house looks ace btw :)

:hugs: Kimmy, sorry you're having to pay love.

Holly only has 2 pushchairs, and she's outgrown one of them  Lanky little madam!

I'm excellent at sticking to a budget, who'd have known :haha: I've just been to Tesco and bought loads of value stuff. Mushy peas for 6p - I love being a pikey

That sucks that you got to go private :hugs:

I'd be able to stick to a budget if I didn't keep having to buy my ex's food shopping

I wouldnt mind letting him starve but I don't want Maria starving when she goes there

Good point lol. You could teach her to hide food, I'm sure she's be a quick learner :haha:

Cos he has fucked up with his bills and income and has no money, the idiot

I'm not sure how I would be on a budget. We don't go OTT when we shop, get a lot own brands, but I'm a sucker for offers, buying things I wouldn't normally get just because they're £1 or 1/2 price!!

Could you send Maria with her food? Cook it at yours and send it over and he can re heat it. Taking bloody liberties scrounging off of you!!

We have sausage and ale casserole for dinner. It was from asda, this jar of pureed sauce and you add it to sausages and onions and add water and voila! Reason I bought it....it was on offer :dohh: :haha:

Sorry that you'll have to pay for your treatment Kimmy! If you can afford it, then go for it. The main thing is that you feel better. :hugs:

I had a go at him today and told him I wasn't paying for him anymore and I want my money back. I was just really pissed off at him for a number of reasons but it all came out as that.

Sounds um...tasty Blondey....

I'm a bit like blondey, a sucker for offers! :haha: we're having sausages too! :)
Good for you nats, you have it hard enough without paying for him too!
I hope it works quickly for you kimmy, MH issues suck. :hugs:
Day from hell in work! :dohh: I can't stand the back stabbing and bitching! :(

:hugs: Lettuce and Nats.

I get offers too, love em. I have found it's more fun shopping on a budget. I did go a bit wrong a couple of weeks ago though. I had a £5 off when you spend £25 in Iceland voucher. I was mentally totting up the stuff in the trolley as I went along, then Holly started paddying and put me off. I got to what I thought was £25, and it was £35 :dohh: Bloody kids and shopping don't mix :haha:

Holly has started walking backwards, like she's doing the moonwalk. It's awesome

Awesome! Maria went through a walking backwards phase at one stage, it was hilarious

good on ya Nats!
I kinda budget, i do the food shopping every month and i manage to feed us, 2 babies, all the nappies etc for £300... wouldn't be so much if it wasnt for beer and Irn Bru!
Cant complain tho, at least now he doesn't buy every single xbox game that comes out and he/we never go out.
Just let H cry for 5 mins, now he is sound asleep. I'm such a mean mummy second time around!

Mean mummy or sensible mummy? ;) I'm regretting all my attachment parenting bollocks now. I know they say it'll come right but I'm so tired and fed up. I'm freaking cos she's ill again, I have no idea what's wrong, no temp, dunno if it's teeth, chickenpox, cold? Feeling useless. She's STTN about 5/6 times since she's been born, I think I'm damaging her cos she doesn't get enough sleep, but every time I think about cc, she gets ill! It's a bloody conspiracy.
Sorry for the rant, ignore me, I'm just doubting myself today. I felt terrible cos she just wanted cuddles off me when she came home and I passed her to DH so I could cook dinner, then she wouldn't eat it and feel asleep in her highchair. then DH took her out to change her and told me to eat my dinner and he'd get his while I put her to bed, but she was crying and I felt so so bad. I hate working. Why do we punish ourselves with such guilt?! I almost wish the PND hadn't lifted a little, cos now I'm so attached to her I find it more difficult. :(
Anyway, I had 2 penguin biscuits! :)
And  at moonwalking Holly! :)
Oh, you shop well Michelle! I need to organise myself better.

:hugs: Lettuce, its good to rant a little here and let it all out

AP just isnt for me! i'm not saying its wrong and some mummies are fab at it, but i couldnt do it the way some do!
Rant away lettuce :hugs: thats what we're all here for
