The losers club

Hey losers

I've been busy, had a house viewing yesterday, it's beautiful but we looked at our finances last night and we can't afford to even live in this cheap dump after April next year after cutting back and getting rid of one of the cars so a more expensive place is a no go :(

Stand up to cancer is on tonight, anyone going to watch? I'm not sure I can, I'm not in a good place right now and I think watching it it going to send me over the edge, it's a bit too close to home

Lettuce that tea sounds yum! Send some down here!

:hugs: Emmy. What are your plans? Is your not breaking even taking into account your new job? Have you any other options?

Meh, how miserable is the weather! Hasn't stopped raining down here all day! And I found out the hard way that my shoes aren't water proof!

Have our buyer coming over tomorrow to see if she wants anything left. She asked for the patio curtains and we said yes and would be open to selling some furniture and she's coming back to refresh her memory. We want all new furniture anyway and the master bedroom in the house has fitted wardrobes so no need to taje ours if they want them. I guess it depends if they're renting the flat furnished or not. I'm actually quite sad to be moving! I hope the new people look after it!!

Oh Emmy, I wish I could just wave a magic wand and fix things for you :hugs:
Jenny wasn't impressed with my dinner! :(
Oh good stuff blondey, hope she buys some, save you having to shift it. Know what you mean about being sad, but I've emotionally checked out of my flat now. What's the weekend plans? Got packing tomorrow and christening in Sunday.
Not watching stand up to cancer, I've dealt with it all day, Feck knows I'm nit watching it all night!! Haha.

Yo losers, just got back from visiting Timo's family. Everyone loved Maria (especially his grandma's dog, who kept humping her ) and we had a nice time. All on my lonesome now though, Maria has gone to her grandad's and Timo has gone back to his dad's as he has to work.

Who wouldn't love her?! ;) glad it went well, enjoy your me time!
Just back from a christening and trying to get Jen to nap... :dohh:

Maria is awesome

The breaking even thing will be if I work my basic hours in this new job. It's bloody ridiculous, we need help but there's nothing and nobody who is willing! The only luxuries we have are a takeaway on a Friday, £20 a month Sky and £11 a month internet, but I need the internet to do my photography thang. I cut my phone bill down by £5 a month, every little helps... We also buy value stuff, have really simple cheap meals all the time, even made a £2.70 Aldi chicken last three servings of roast dinner, three servings of chicken soup and two servings of chicken curry!

Hey ho.

Had a Doo-free day today, so chilled all morning with a book and then blitzed my livingroom this afternoon.

IL's are coming on Saturday and on Sunday I'm seeing my brothers and sister again then Monday it's back to work!

:hugs: Emmy, hope you can figure something out housing-wise to fit your income

Its nearly bedtime and Maria is bouncing off the walls....I predict a loooong evening

I need a huggle :-( Stressing about childcare when I start training school and then start doing shift work after that. Anyone want to lease a very cute albeit cheeky 21month old?

I would but I think her commute might be a bit long...

Cold! Heating isn't working properly :( Called the building manager about it but apparently its a problem with the whole building and they've been trying to fix it for some time. BRRR!

if anyone wants a 20% mothercare discount code pm me, its the staff code and i don't want to put it here.. i was given in on the proviso i do not spread it around!

Could you pm it me michelle please? I need buy another car seat for the new child I'm going be looking after. I'm going be busy come 2weeks time..... Looking after a 10 month old, my 20 month old and a 3 year old all full time and a 4 year old before and after school!! Madness!! :haha:

What is it your finding difficult blondey with the childcare?

Emmy, really feel for you but wow, as if you managed get all them meals out of that one chicken.. That's amazing! Just goes to show what you can do though doesnt it. How come you had a doo free day today?

Nursery don't have the space for her to go full time at the moment. My mum has her 10hrs a week already and can't really ask her to do anymore as she cares for my poorly grandad and her and my dad are having issues with my brother so they've already got lots on their plate.

OH has put in for flexible working. His new job is mon-fr 8-4 but he's asked to work tue-sat 10-6 and one late shift. Which sucks for us as we'll only get one day together. But I'm torn. I could look for a CM, but part of me feels really sad that AM will have such a close bond with one person and might start to prefer them to me  or I could look for another nursery. Found one a stones throw from the new house, but would be slightly more inconvenient for my mum (she can walk to AM's current nursery) I;m just getting so stressed about it and I can already feel my tummy starting to suffer!!

I just feel like a really rubbish mummy at the mo. A bit mean that I'l be going off to work full time when I don't have to at the moment (money wise) And that I haven't been teaching her enough or doing enough with her. God I'm such a sad sap! I'm even getting upset now!

Rubbish about the heating Nats! Must be cold over there now as it's not particularly nice here!!

Wow you will be busy Fabby!

Busy girl fabby! :) good luck!
Poor cold nats. :(
That's impressive stretching Emmy! God, I hope you get some good luck. :hugs:
Blondey, you are far from a crap mummy! This is all to benefit your whole family in the long run. Have you asked your mum about the new nursery? Maybe she wouldn't mind. It'll all come right in the end.

:hugs: Blondey, maybe your mum won't mind about the new nursery

It is cold here, hitting below zero at night :(

I miss Timo :(

Aw Nats :)

Well as I'm not working this week and we still have to pay the child minder I figured she may aswell go and I can sort the house out!

Michelle could you pm me the code??

Hope your heating gets sorted soon nats, must be very uncomfortable :-(
Thanks for the code Michelle, just ordered car seat :-)
Blondey, don't be daft, your doing what's right for your family. I really wouldn't get caught up on the idea of AM preferring a CM over her own mummy, that would never happen. Yes we do have a close bond but NEVER the bond that you have with your own child. I think the world of the little boy we have here and love him to bits and he loves coming here too (apparently always talking about here at home) but that doesn't mean he loves me more than his mummy. It's totally different kind of bond trust me. A CM might be better for you in your circumstances or spilt it using CM and nursery.
