I've taken like 6 more test today and they all came back positive. The doctors office called and said the blood work showed negative as well. I told them that I was still getting positive home test with 5 different brands so they ordered an ultrasound for monday. I've never had this happen to me before and I find it hard to believe that the lab at the hospital came back negative. What could be the reason for this?

Did u have a mc recently?

No, no mc. Is that what usually happens?

Well sometimes if u had one say last month ur hcg can be up and then go down but I agree with another poster about lab error. Hcg is hcg. U were reading tests within the time limit right? Not to get ur hopes up but I think ull be happy!! I can't wait til mon lol! Fx for u.

Yes i've been reading the results within the time limit. I'm not really sure how many dpo i am because this cycle we didn't do anything. I guess it's true when they say it usually happens when you're not trying.

I think it's pretty darn dark! It could get a but darker but I would def BD!

Tested this morning again and it's still positive!! I'm so nervous and scared to get my ultrasound on monday. I feel really good about everything. I'm having achy breast, going to the bathroom often, and i feel nauseated all the time. The hubby and I are keeping our fingers crossed that this is our sticky bean after years of trying. My mom says my boobs look full so that got me excited too.

Twinkie, so sorry to hear this i think a pity party for a day or two sounds totally reasonable. For what it's worth also, I think you should follow your doc's advice to skip a month and get the tests. As someone else said, it's not stopping trying, it's being prepared to get your sticky! (I had to skip this month too due to a loss last cycle, so I do know where you're coming from, but I think it's best to follow the doc's advice). It's good that the doc is prepared to start testing now; I sincerely hope you don't suffer three (and your chances of a successful pregnancy next time are still very high), but it's good to get the testing started anyway.

I'm holding on to BFP. I wonder if dr has higher standard for mui (or whatever it is) than ur hpt, so as not to cause false pos. Honestly, I cannot think of any other explanation other than some little, weird pregnant fairy sneaking in to ur bathroom and peeing on ur stick while ur not looking.

I think this is getting there but not quite. In most opk tests the test line needs to be darker than the control line.
Dtd anyways it can't hurt.
