Definitely do whatever you feel. Be easy on yourself, hun! Maybe you'll feel ready to try right away. I did, I couldn't stop trying. I fell pregnant 3 cycles in a row all early losses. But the cycle 4, I fell pregnant again and I'm still pregnant. So, a break isn't always necessary. Go with how you feel.

I've taken like 6 more test today and they all came back positive. The doctors office called and said the blood work showed negative as well. I told them that I was still getting positive home test with 5 different brands so they ordered an ultrasound for monday. I've never had this happen to me before and I find it hard to believe that the lab at the hospital came back negative. What could be the reason for this?

Twinkie - I already replied on our other thread but just wanted to add to what the other ladies have said. A lot of us have had losses and so please feel free to vent cry whatever you need to us. I wish no one had to go through this. But at least we've got each other to get through it .

On the good side my Gyno called and says my blood test confirmed o. Granted I'm pretty sure I have no prob with the o, it's the whole no mc thing. But anyway, that means it's a good chance as long as we bd right? Which we did....plenty lol!

Yes he was, he's really young so I think that's partly why he is so willing to be proactive on things, which is great, just wish it wasn't necessary. Weekend pity party coming my way!

My thoughts on testing timing

It is a good thing you are getting in on tests, though I get the whole waiting issue. The doctor is right about choosing the correct date for the ultrasound. My uterus was filled with polyps. (Some of these ladies have seen the photos on my journal). I had four transvagial ultrasounds with different doctors that previous year and not one saw the polyps because of the state of my lining. Waiting for the right day of your cycle is very important for a good view. Luckily that day is just a week before the ideal date for your HSG so you can normally knock them out the same month, and be able to try again right away after that!

Last month I found a doctor that knew the right timing for testing and did my US on CD 1, my HSG the following week. This month I just had all the masses removed and after 18 months of trying and mc I have a real chance! I missed only one month of trying but so worth it.

I threw my pitty party also. Ate an entire pizza in a bubble bath my own version of a bad romantic comedy. Sometimes you just need to do that for your emotional health.

Maybe it was just a lab error. The lab test would be more sensitive. If you are getting lines on home tests, you are pregnant. It's telling you there is HCG present.

Sorry twinkie , sounds like positive stuff from your doctor though, one month off now to investigate may save months and months of heartbreak down the line.
It's not stopping trying it's ensuring success next time hun.
