The pill

Hi ladies! I'm not sure I'm posting in the right place but needed a bit of help. I had my daughter mid December. As iv now stopped breast feeding I wanted to go back on the pill. When I was on it before I took microgynon and was fine. I saw the doc on Thursday and started taking it again that night. I took it for 4 days and had to stop. It made me sick,dizzy,headaches! I felt awful. I am back at the docs today to ask for an alternative but I don't want the same to happen again.
Any advice on which one to ask for? I'd prefer a combination pill as it will regulate my periods. Iv tried online research but there are so many! It's mind boggling!!

I'm on Yasmin but it's not a combi pill. My mums on cerazette which is meant to be the safest but it also stops your periods. Microgynan was a nightmare for me! X

Microgynon didn't work well for me either - I changed to Femodine and had no problems with it at all. Everyone's different though!

My doctor recommended cerazette as its the safest option and allows longer protection should you forget to take it. I've had no side effects and no periods.

I take cerelle no side effects and no periods which I love! And I take it the whole 28 days no break then forgetting to start again like I did befor

That pill was awful for me too! It'd make me sick every morning, then migraines the rest of the day. I'm on femodine now, was before we started ttc and went straight back on it & have been fine

The options seem endless right?! I was on Loestrin 24 after LO- and LOVED it... no periods, barely any PMS symptoms... but then they discontinued it. So I'm on a similar pill-- just 21dys instead of 24. Still no periods- my PMS symtoms are a tad worse-- but still very mild. It's Microgestin 1/20 fe (low estrogen).
