Didn't have to fake sick.. threw up about 30 mins after I wrote that post It was a very bad journey home I can tell you -2 hour train journey!!

Poor DH was treating me by cooking dinner and he was gutted when I walked through the door, grey faced and dizzy. Slept on the sofa until about 9pm when I started to feel a bit better. My OV pains have been getting worse every cycle but throwing up is a first for me. Feel better today though.

Anyway... got my first ever PEAK on my CBFM this morning although my temps don't look right. Admittedly I woke up at 3am thanks to my dog 'talking' and stamping his feet beside my bed wanting to go out for a wee, so when I got up at 5:45am for work I'd had just short of 3 hours straight sleep. Temp was only 0.01 higher than yesterday so my chart looks confusing!!!

Finally got some though Egg frying time!!!!!!

Right quick question for you girlies after my warm welcome to the group

Am i correct in thinking that whilst on BCP you do not OV, well not properly??
Just this is the first cycle i have had since coming off mine and its hurt like hell, ive felt really sick too past 4 days so this must be why???

Even though my belly was so tender last night, i still managed to get some action, so thats 31stAM and 1stPM, gotta be in with some slight chance after that, but have decided thats enough for this month as i just feel too sick and sore

Awww Burd im sorry your feeling sick. I believe your right about not Oing while on BCP i seam to remember something like that.. im sorry im not much help havent been on BCP in 8 years!! im sure it also makes the womb lining thicker so eggs cant implant into the uterous so then again maybe you do O Sigh.... sorry.

classyburd.. BCP fools the body into thinking it has produced it's own hormones/egg etc and therefore in most cases (depends on the type of pill) you don't actually OV. That's whay it can take some time for all the 'fake' hormones to leave your system once you stop taking the BCP and for your own body to kick start itself into working properly. Imagine, just like your body going through puberty from scratch!!

I also had horrendous AF pains during my first cycle after BCP, this did get better going cycle by cycle, but I never got OV pains (thought I might not be OV'ing at all). Now that my cycles have settled down and become more regular I am noticing more pains during OV (as I get more used to the tell tale signs my body puts out).

Do you temp chart or use OPKs? Best way of ascertain for sure if you have OV'd or not.

Do it everyday, but yesterday was struggle... some b@st@rd was eating a burger king which STANK and didn't help

I dont chart no as im quite new to this and thought i would just give it a go 'naturally' first. The OH already thinks im becoming obssessed hahaha

I dunnoi just feel so sick but we only started BD'ing on 31st so i presume that along with the pain i experianced and it being mid way through my cycle, i just presumed i was OV.

Oh well roll on the 2WW lol

It was ermmm like cramping in the lower ab area, like period cramp area.
Also feel really queasy, was even trying to throw up last night i felt so bad.
Also been getting hot and am contipated lol sorry TMI but yu did ask

I was up all night long as I had a teat before bed....BAD idea. I'm switiching to decaff now.

I also woke up at 5am thinking about food..I wasso hungry....I had smores pop tarts in kitchen but ended up waiting til 10 before eating them...lol

NOW I am not so hungry and kind of feel offish. Doesn't help its so hot outside.
Wish I had the car to go swimming......
