The good stuff doesn't bother me, honestly! It actually gives me hope that there are nice guys out there. I've just read the thread and it's people who say they feel like a single parent because their OH doesn't do the washing up that stings. None of you have done anything like that and i know that even if you did you wouldn't really be comparing it to being totally alone!

Wht the fuck about harveys janie! Thats rediculous, bloody christmas. Id be reading the small print then if they dont have some huge disclaimer, id be demanding some money off!

Id just like to add to what Jo said about fleece liners..Just cos i had no idea what they were when i started. Literally buy a cheapy fleece throw (£2 from asda) then cut up rectangles which cover the bit you fold up and put inside. Thats all people do when they sell them on ebay, except you can make 40 for £2 rather than £2 for 6 on ebay x

Ive got to say ive never once felt you guys have talked about your OH's to much. Im jealous of susie, cos her OH buys her nail varnish and takes her for dinner alllllll the time, lol! But ive defo never felt thats been rubbed in or thrown in my face. Truth is, if i had him id think he was too nice and dump him anyway, lol! I havent read the thread, but i guess from a distance alot of it is maybe down to a lil bit of jealousy? Luckily for me im quite good at being happy with what i have, but i can see how people could find it hard. Aloty of people long for that family bond then things went wrong. Bitterness doesnt go away overnight, lol. There is absolutely nothing wrong with talking about your partner though, afterall, isnt that half of your life if your in a relationship, lol!

I still havent read it. ONly just got my net back. I dont venture much further than our thread n buy n sell normally, lol. I think that the fact ive done single mom thing before really helps me. I was in relationships non stop from 13 to 24 so i appreciate the single life alot more as well. I dont feel the need for a man, yet at the same time, if i did want one, i dont like any of them enough to let them come live in my house...its MY house!

I think we should do a secret santa between us all, but im trying to figure out how. Theres not enough of us. Every way i try figure it out, someone will always know who the secret santas are. We need to grab someone from else where to set it up for us, lol. I want eliese as my secret sants...What would i get...i wonder..rofl!

This is complicated so i'll make up a scenario and hope it makes sense. 6 people take part and email a number from 1-6... oh bugger, doesn't work.

Gem makes 6 documents with each person's name and address on and names the files '1', '2' etc and emails them to Jo. Jo saves and changes the numbers on the documents without opening them. Jo emails the documents one at a time to the other five people, waiting for confirmation that they haven't received their own name. Then Jo checks the last one isn't her and TADAAAA secret kept!

Janie - the nappies are terry toweling, take about a day to dry. Apparently they can be quite bulky. You change the nappy every time and can just wipe down the wrap and use again if it isn't pooey. I'd recommend using a fleece liner to keep pee away from the bum... anything in particular you're unsure about?

I've read thru the small print and they say they endeavour to get it to you in the said time, but can't guarantee it!!!!! I'm phoning them again today and if they don't sort something out soon I'm cancelling it and getting something second hand. We're sitting on garden chairs the now, my bum is dying for a comfy seat!!!

There's nothing wrong with being nice And he can be a pain in the arse sometimes, but I wouldn't moan about it to any of you, because, despite him having faults (as we all do) I am very lucky to have him. Doesn't mean he is too nice or boring...
