Yeah towards when I was finishing my workmates were actually understanding, and my boss too, she actually encouraged me to finish at 32 weeks instead of 34 weeks. I think at work they could see how much of a struggle it was for me, but it was other people like family and friends saying I was going early. They probably didn't understand what my job involves and often just thought about their own experiences, forgetting every woman and pregnancy is different.
Whereabouts in the world are you? In the UK you can go on maternity leave from 29 weeks so you shouldn't need signing off by the doctor?
