I'd stick with the Shay spelling. People might start pronouncing it "Shee" if you spell it Shea.

I know it as an irish boys name, but spelt shea i think. Not sure i like it or dislike it, Defo dont think theres owt wrong with it But i do think it will get mistaken for shane .

I have known 2 Shays and both are girls. I am not against it for a boy's name, just tend to think of it as a feminine name.
