this for a boy....

I have two names on my list for a boy and Shay is one of them!

I adore it x

thanks for reply would u sperll it shay or shea

I'd stick with the Shay spelling. People might start pronouncing it "Shee" if you spell it Shea.

Its an Irish name isn't it? Nice :)

i dont no any lads called shay.. i do a girl but spelt diff.. i like it :)

I only know a girl called Shay so I wouldn't use it for a boy.
It is a nice name though xxxxx

i was in school with a boy called shay a few years ago.never heard it for a girl tho.

To be honest, I think it sounds a bit too "urban" for my tastes. Might just be me though...

I like it. I know a Shay and think of it as a boy's name. :)

I know it as an irish boys name, but spelt shea i think. Not sure i like it or dislike it, Defo dont think theres owt wrong with it :) But i do think it will get mistaken for shane .

I love Shay. Thinking of Seamus shortened to Shay or just Shay?

I'd spell it Shay for a boy or Shea for a girl x

I like shay its on my boys list so far :]
there was a boy at my school called it but it was his nickname cause his last name was a weird one to pronoun lol ..
i agree with lili24 .. shay for a boy and shea for a girl :) looks right anyways :)
x

I have known 2 Shays and both are girls. I am not against it for a boy's name, just tend to think of it as a feminine name.

I know two Shays - the girl being Shay and the boy being spelt Shea. Its a lovely name xx

I know a girl Shae and a boy Shey. Nice name. x
