Anybody else who's had heartburn from the very start? I love everything about this pregnancy but the daily heartburn can go do one.
Started on Rennies and I felt like I was chewing on chalk, sometimes I would even gag. They were that bad. What's also bad is the heartburn would come back after 2hours. Complete waste of money as I was going through 12 a day.
I was prescribed Peptac which seemed like a life saver because even though the heartburn would come back after a few hours it had a fast relief. I ran out which the doctor's weren't happy about as I was 'overusing'. You're only supposed to use it when you wake up and after your main meal. Hahahaha! I'm not gonna take it in the morning, have heartburn 2 hours later and wait several, several hours to take it again.
I'm now on Tesco's own which is a film coated tablet (the only reason I'm taking it) and it tends to keep the heartburn away for more than 2 hours but you can only take 2 a day. I'm now on my second and still suffering from heartburn as it can take up to an hour to work and just worried I'll have terrible heartburn throughout the night. I'm also out of milk which helped calm my heartburn.
I need fellow heartburn sufferers who have it bad as me.
