I want to get DS one of those cloth portable 'highchairs'. I'm just getting prepared as I know he won't need it for a couple of months.
I want to ask advice from those with older babies as to which one to get.
I've found a couple from Amazon:

This one has shoulder straps:

This one doesn't:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Totseat-Washable-Squashable-Highchair-Circles/dp/B001QC77W0/ref=pd_cp_by_1

Which do you think is best (colour and patterns aside!)?
Do you know of any others?
Thanks!:flower:

I have a totseat and LO loves it.
I don't think shoulder straps are a must, as the totseat comes up quite high and is really rather sturdy.
This is us at breakfast in a hotel when LO was 4 months old.

i would get the one without shoulder straps as my lo is very independent and nosey and would get annoyed by then. the other one also looks secure enough.

but i dont get how its a highchair? does it not just go on a chair the same hight or does it have a booster in the bottom?

We had a cloth one without shoulder straps, similar to binxyboo.

The only bad thing I found with that style is that in restaurants etc, she was just sat on the seat with no booster and nothing to raise her up, so was in an awkward position and couldn't see over the table most of the time!

i have a phil and teds clip on highchair - its fantastic and then lo can be up at the table with us. I love it xx

Wow, I'd never heard of this, just looked it up and it's amazing! I was going to get the cloth one for our holiday in 3 weeks but actually I'm going to get this one now. I have a phil and teds buggy which is amazing so I totally trust the build quality.

Here's a LOT of reviews if anyone else wants to see:

We have the chicco clip on at home, it's fab as feels as if moo is at table with us. Have a cloth one in change bag in case no high chair when out and means I don't have to hold her on my lap when feeding her xx
