My bmi is 31
My midwife actually said and I quote "iv given up caring what people weigh, it makes no difference" and she's so damn right. It wouldn't have mattered if she had given me the 'overweight' lecture or not, it's too late once your.pregnant, you cant start a strict diet.
I'm following a healthy eating plan, walk a good half hour a day (make sure I get my 10,000 steps) and drink loads, but that's because I'm avoiding GD lol, here they refer to consultant if bmi is over 30. But everything iv been referred it's not been mentioned, ever.
Eta what I would suggest is that if you can loose weight before ttc it will help masses, I lost 3 stone in 5 months before getting this baby!
