hiya girlies....i'm looking to buy a double electric pump and was wondering which is best to get...hopefully at a discount at the baby show next month :haha:

I have the medela swing atm but when i start to pump, the other one leaks soooo much, and i think it'd be too much for a shell to cope with!

:flower:

I'm pleased with the Ameda Purely Yours I use (I think it has a different name in the UK, but whichever one Ameda makes - it's the same one)

In America there is a thing called a Milkie which collects spare milk from other breast. I've never used it and it does look cumbersome but fits into your bra apparently.

I use the pump-n-style, but they have had a bad rap for a couple of reasons. Medela is not code compliant and their pumps do not have a closed system, so there is the possibility of milk getting into your motor and going mouldy. I decided to buy a new one the second time around because of this. If I didn't already have the pump, I'd go for a purely your too by Ameda or even a Hygeia pump which can be shared and recycled and use any tubing and collection system.

Is that the London expo you're going to? I'm hoping to go too.

I've got the Medela mini electric double pump and I LOVE it. It's a bit pricey at £75 (I used Mothercare vouchers to get mine!) but it has so been worth it.
