Those WITHOUT healthy start vouchers- how much is milk costing you a month?

baby is only 13 days and iv been combination feeding and iv gone through a tub of c&g already!! Also not entitled to any vouchers....doesn't it suck when you chose to work for your living but get nothing back in return?? I'm dreading going back to work and the child care costs kicking in,another expense. xxxx

We use C&G so £7.99 a tub and that lasts 6 days.

Even tho you don't get the healthy start vouchers you will be entitled to child benefit which is £20.10 a week, that should help towards the cost of formula and nappies.

They will also backdate it 3 months if you've not applied for it yet, just download a form from online and send off :)

I buy my formula and nappies with child benefit so technically it costs us nothing. we are lucky in the UK, formula seems to be much more expensive in the usa.

$25 dollars a week, In canada I don't think vouchers are available.

surly if formula in the us are so exprensive it must be a much bigger tub that in the uk?

Oh I do get child benefit. £80 every 4 weeks, all of which gets spent on the baby; £50 for milk and £30 for nappies, wipes and odds and ends like colic drops. My husband buys him clothes if he needs it. I rely 100% on the child benefit to raise Lou as the working tax credit and child tax credit I get is spent on heating, food & bills etc.
