Isobelle is now on day 7 of no poo, i know this is normal for BF babies but everyone seems very concerned and it is starting to worry me how worried they all are if that makes sense.
I am happy to leave her till about day 10 then will speak to health visitor or GP but people are suggesting sugar water
Im not sure how it is meant to work etc is it worth a go before the GP? I dont think i want to be then again it is more natural than lactulose?

imo and only mine ...i would try boiled water first if not joy mix 5ml of pure oj into 20ml boiled water as thats more natural then sugar water .. xx

I wouldnt. Hebe would go 10 days sometimes. Your BM has so little waste in it. Wait a while and if you are really concerned I'd say lactulose is better than sugar and water. :)

Thanks
10 days is my cut off so anything after that i will go to GP
She has her Jabs tomorrow maybe they will scare it out of her lol

iVE been having same problems. I massage Scotts stomach earlier when he was on my lap and it exploded out of him lol!

the midwife also suggested I eat pently of prunes, grapes and veg to pass it through to him

Ellis stopped pooing any more often than once a week at about the same age,and when it first stopped it was about 10 days before she had a poo and then she really had a poo,but i was concerned too as she'd been several times a day until then. I was advised just to rub her tummy in a clockwise circular motion and not worry-same as mm says breast milk is exactly what baby needs so very little waste.

Ive been using lactulose for Alex aswell. He only gets bunged up for a couple of days but if affects his eating so i have to give him something to help him

My daughter poos every 7-10 days so like the others have said I wouldn't worry yet. Lactulose is the best, most natural thing for it xxx

Thanks everyone
Its good to hear it from people who have had similar experiences not that i dont trust the HV...:)

 Let us know when the explosion happens!!
I have her bath in our bath at all times ready to add the water, although i may just spend some time visiting his mum this week :-=

whenever lilly was bunged up so to speak we were always advised to give her cooled boiled water with a touch of diluting juice in it.
