I've been invited to another Christening next month but don't know if I should go because I have such a low opinion of them atm. Would it be right to go anyway?

Hmmm that's a difficult one. The christening is for the baby not its parents, but I prefer to avoid awkward situations wherever possible!

I just spent ages writing out a reply with my left hand because LO was curled up on my right, pressed backspace and it took me out of this thread

I don't like confrontation at all so wouldn't say anything unless in a very nice way but kind of feel a bit wrong about being all nice and friendly when I feel differently.

I've got the other Christening today and it's raining , it's a long walk from the car park to the church so I'll look a right mess by the time I get there

thanks for the birthday wishes ladies had a fab birthday. Ash got me a ring got lots of pennies and went shopping today, chinese last night and me and ash are going out to play with some remote control petrol cars tonight lol

I am knackered after the Christening, I was parked about 10 minutes from the church and running late so had to rush in heels and then walk back to go onto the reception. Of course I didn't sit down for like 3 hours with LO . So I'm sat in bed with my piece of chocolate cake

She woke every hour or so in the night screaming, is very bunged up and has a chesty cough and sneezles.
