Tierd but won't sleep?! What do you do?

I always know when my LO is tierd...however as soon as i put him in his cot to sleep he starts to play, roll over etc...(he usually gets to sleep on his own)...if i take him out of his cot to play he starts winging and wanting to be lifted all this time...what would you do? or what do you do? I usually leave him in his cot...am i doing the right thing do you think?! I just find he ends up playing for up to a hour in his cot and then falls asleep? xx

I think you are doing the right thing if he isn't crying.

Amy is like that when I put her down sometimes. She has a play for five minutes or so then goes to sleep. She was chattering away to herself last night for five minutes or so and then went fast asleep! LOL. If he is not crying I see no harm in just lettin them have that alone play time, cause they do go to sleep. x

my little fellas always done this when i put him in his cot he plays for upto half an hour then he falls asleep x

I wouldnt worry, its good that he is comfortable in his bed
