Time from pos opk to bd'ing, how long have I got?

I think I got a very nearly pos opk this morning, its the closest to pos iv ever had. How long have i got to catch that eggy? Im out tonight and partner will likely be asleep when I get in, though I intend on waking him in a very nice way hehe. Will I still stand a chance if we do it this evening and tomorrow morning? X

I believe you have about 24 hours between a positive OPK and BDing to catch eggy.

Surge is usually 12 to 36 hours before..but sperm last longer then the egg so sooner the better as they can be waiting.
