how can i change the time as its 5.15pm here and its saying its about 9am? lol

You can change your time zone in User CP ---> Edit Options

Sounds like its the wrong timezone.

Click on User CP, then under "Settings And Options" on the left hand column click on "Edit Options", near the bottom it should have an option to set your proper time zone.
