Timing sex with OPK's

Ugh...so, this is my first cycle off BCP. I am on cycle day 16 and I got my positive OPK this morning. The hubby and I DTD yesterday but he is gone for his reserve duty till Sunday! I am freaking out that I we will miss the window. Do you think I still have a chance with BDing a day before the positive OPK?

Sometimes sperm can live for 5 days inside so I wouldn't say ur out. But I do understand that positive opk comes before ov as it's the lh surge it setts before ovulation. Ov can happen up to 4 days after opk so if his sperm lasts 5 days there's a chance! Xx

He comes back Sunday evening so I am hoping even if I don't ovulate till tomorrow or the next day if we do it again Sunday I will be covered lol This is our third child and the first one that will actually be planned so I am going crazy!

The day before a +OPK is a good day!! Hopefully the sperms will be there ready and waiting for the eggy!
