So i knew the tiredness was going to make the Dreaded comeback in 3rd tri but i didnt think it would start this early :(

The last days ive been sooo tired... i went up a friends saturday night to watch a film and i had to leave early as i was falling asleep, last night i was sleeping at 8.30pm - i didnt get up till gone 12pm mind!!
and today i feel like falling asleep at my desk

Is this normal for 29 weeks gone? i thought it came back in the last few weeks

Yes, its normal haha.

I go through spurts of sleeping lots and being tired, to having lots of energy, its been like this the whole pregnancy.

Too little iron can cause this too, but I think an overdose of it can cause it too. I cant seem to take the prenatal vitamins anymore, if I do I get bagged for days, I feel like they ae a sedative.

I've felt like hell for the last few weeks. But I have to say, that now I've finished work, I feel human again. I didn't realise how bad I was until I finished and caught up with sleep and rested. Now it's time to finally enjoy this pregnancy!!!
How long do yo have left before mat leave starts?

I have another 7 weeks left in work after this week :(
Im only sat behind a desk, but i think that makes me feel even more tired looking at a computer screen all day long!!

In the last few weeks of work, I learnt that I needed to keep a bit more active. I would get up every half an hour and walk round the hospital (it's only tiny!!), then do some more work. It really helped - kept my back supple as well as it kept seizing. Hope you find something to help hun.

I'm having sort of the opposite: these surges of inhuman energy that are almost scary. For example, I just launched a huge project in which I was training people, delivering programs, and leading a 300-kid school through a 1-week theatre project. I would finish a day of teaching, head back to the office and do a thousand tasks there, then head out and either rehearse for an upcoming show, or head home to sort and clean and de-clutter the house.
I'm tired by the time I fall asleep (maybe around 10pm), but I am popping awake at 4:45 am and am ready to go.
This can't keep up. I am sure I should be keeling over any minute. But I feel fine. Great, even.
Maybe this is the effect that progesterone has on me?
My husband finds it a bit frightening.
Another mystery of pregnancy.

Im in bed by ten then up at 8am then back in bed by midday haha x

i notice it comes and goes, some days you feel like a zombie and others i forget im even pregnant - untill i catch my reflection in the mirror!!!

rest when you feel you need to hon, listen to your body, im self employed so a bit easier to sneak off for 10 mins but you do have rights with regards to work, read up on what your entitled to and make sure you get it xxx

i felt just like you at the same time then it eased off and felt better again xx

I've been like that the whole way through and now I'm sleeping so badly because of aches and pains that it's even worse! :-( Only 3 more weeks of having to work (three very busy weeks but then no work!). Good luck for your 7!

mine comes and goes too, get some cat naps maybe like power naps! xx
