TMI alert... Strange period - help!!

Hi ladies...
This might be a tmi question but I wanted your advice...
I came on what I thought was my period on Friday however it has only been dark brown, thick discharge since. It's not been a lot either.

Has anyone else had this? Or know what might be the cause? A bit worried!!!

I get 2-3 days of the brown (sometimes light, sometimes dark) spotting before AF every cycle...it's nothing to worry about, just some old blood coming out. Sometimes it's just when I wipe, sometimes it's a bit heavier.

thanks beachy! So do you think this might just be the start of AF? I have never had it before. Have been reading all kinds of scary stories about what it might mean. I think I should ban myself from google!

I think it could be AF coming.

Though I have read that some women have some brown spotting before their BFP...when is AF due?

has completely stopped this morning. Af should have started on Monday. Temps have gone down though so don't think it could be bfp.

Low temps are never a good sign I went through that last cycle when my brown spotting was a bit different from every other cycle, I Google'd so much...but everyone said if your temp goes down, then expect AF.
