I had an emcs Feb 23rd. I bleed similar to a period for a week and then spotted for a week after that. I've been wearing just pantiliners the last 2 weeks for an occasional once a day tinge of blood. Yesterday and today though I've started bleeding again similar to the first couple of days after my csection. Anyone else experience this?

I am not as far along as you, section on 24th March, but I have had heavey days and no bleeding at all days.

I thinks its hormones regulating themselves and the uterus contracting. If you are worried give your Dr a call.

I haven't had any actual bleeding since the first week. And for the last 2 weeks I've only had a spot of pink maybe once a day with wiping. I'm starting to get a heavy feeling and crampy like a period. I'm just surprised if it is my period because I've taken meds to have one with fertility treatment for 2 years before getting pregnant with our baby girl.

With DS I got my period after a month of having an emcs with him, so it possible you could be having your period. Also after having a baby, it can kick start your body to ovulating and having periods by yourself. There have been a few who had fertility treatment for no. 1 then had no. 2 by surprise as they couldn't conceive naturally.

I definitely noticed more bleeding after I did more housework or was moving around more than usual. I had a few days that were heavier than the others, and I think that's normal. But if you are soaking pads I would get a doctor's advice.

I had mine on 3/10 and still have days of lite/little of anything and on other days much more. last night in the shower i lost a HUGE blood clot. (even tho i thought all of that should have already passed. talkin double golf ball size here.)

Did you get seen by a doctor?

no.. prob should have.. hubby thought i should but i was feeling fine after that (feel ok still and still bleeding) my words to him were "well it came out.. guess it was suppose to and i seem to be ok.. im not dead yet" i got some horrible- horrible looks from him but he didnt fight me on it.

Still not sure how long one bleeds after a c-sections.. and then do you go into your period right away or does it wait.. guess its diff for us all and will be my wait n see game..

Maybe you can call your doctor for advice? You shouldn't have big clots this late after birth, but I'm sure everything is fine.

You can bleed for up to 6 weeks, sometimes more, sometimes less. Your period can return anytime, but less likely if you are breastfeeding. Mine returned at 4 months, and I ebf.

I had a c-section on Feb 25th and I bleed very heavy for about 3 weeks and then the 4th week was lighter and now I wear panty liners.
