To test or not to test?

Ladies, I need your expert opinions and advice!!!!

We had our first round of IUI on January 6th so I am 15 - 16 days past IUI. I am also on CD30 of what is usually for me a 28 - 30 day cycle. There's no sign of the dreaded . I'm bloated, have sore (.) (.), slight nausea, increased sense of smell and frankly every other symptom of early pregnancy you can imagine.

My dilemma is that I was told not to test until Saturday but the waiting is killing me, plus we have guests this weekend and it's my DH's birthday today and a after around 2 1/2 years of TTC would be amazing. On the flip side I don't want another to put a dark cloud over the day.

I just don't know what to do!!!

Given the info do you think I should test or wait?????

ooh i dont know but didn't want to read and run. are you taking any drugs that have the symptoms as side effects? I know what you mean about not wanting it to spoil your day - though the longer you leave it the more chance of getting an accurate result!

have you tested to check the triggers gone?

tbh, at 15dpiui, I'm saying theres a strong chance of pg, so yes, I'd be testing instead of replying! fingers crossed sweets

TEST!!! I was one for the last several months who would never test because of all of the heart break, but I am changing this month... I am going to test on 12dpo... 85-90% of pregnant people will have a positive test on 12dpo. I want to be ahead of the game. I don't want to wait to see if I get my period because lately I have had my period go on longer than normal which gives me hope!

Be a planner... if it isn't this month, then you can get started on the plan for next month. I'm getting ready for IVF, so month to month has had a new plan.
