I feel a bit daft asking this, but do you put butter on toast for your little ones? Also we always have granary bread, i'm guessing that seeds and things might not be a good idea - is ok to give granary or should I be getting wholemeal?

We put unsalted butter on Poppy's toast and use wholemeal bread. Think the seeds could be a choking hazard so probs best to stick to w/meal

i give rhys regular wholemeal and i put a bit of butter on so its more suckable lol

White wholemeal for Hannah sometimes butter but more often a fruit puree

We put butter on toast. We did get some unsalted but the HV reckoned salted is fine as we don't add salt to anything we cook. I would check with your HV though as your LO is a bit younger. The salt thing is a problem before the kidneys are fully developed but I'm not sure when that happens.
