hehe this is a great idea! But I'm thinking if I should stock up on the tomato soup and force my husband to drink it, or ask him to have the replacement (i.e. guava juice, watermelon etc.)

My problem is, if I ask him to drink the guava juice, will it be as "powerful" as the tomato soup? And how much does he need to drink each day for a better result?

hm... or should I stick with the tomato soup since the research is also based on that?

hehe anyways, I'll follow this thread! :)

Hey BabyBabyBear - If your hubby doesn't like the soup just get him to have a guava juice with every meal and watermelon with breakfast. I am sure that will be plenty x

oopppss, not sure I should be here, I'm going to try everything with lycopene. The watermelon, guava, tomato...not just the soup. I don't want to mess up your data.

Sorry, I know I said I wanted to join in, but the title says soup and I'm gonna try it all.

Feisty Fidget,

That sounds good. Maybe we should at least stock up some guava juice 1st :D. I've told my husband about this already. Let's see what he wants to get... better as many as possible!

I hope this is our month!

Babydust to all of us here!

Guava Juice is a little harder to come by in the UK but I will try!

Ladies, I know that the thread states soup but seriously any of you getting OH to seriously increase the amount of lycopene in their diet is more then welcome! Let me know if you would like me to add you.......... go on, you know you want to!

:dust:

Well we've already been eating a lot more tomato soup, at least once or twice a week so I'll keep that going and maybe even try to increase it. So you can add me if you want! :)

Wow well according to that chart we should be good on the lycopene intake. Although I plan to increase lycopene intake a week by what I choose to make for dinner based on the chart, thank you!

I'll join
Just asked Mike and he said he do anything to help. Aw

Darnit!!!! My Husband hates tomato soup! argh :growlmad:
ill force feed him:blush:

:haha:

Thank you so much for that list! I will be sneaking food in for DH, he knows about the tomato soup but I shall keep quiet about the others ;)

Soup Gate Day 1 for DH today, he had tomato soup for lunch and tomato spaghetti bolognaise for dinner! We are out tomorrow so know he won't be getting his tomato soup - but as we are taking a picnic for lunch methinks I will sneak in cheese and tomato rolls with cherry tomatoes to snack on and watermelon to follow! He won't know what's hit him :haha:

Right Ladies have re-altered first post! Now could I please have your lychopene start dates (estimated is fine, you can let me know later if it changes) what CD you will be and whether it will be pre or post ovulation for you! I know it's geeky, but it will help tally results if we can use this information to contribute to :bfp:

haha my dh will be like darling baked beans and watermelon doesnt taste to good togther lol

We've actually already been eating lycopene rich foods since the beginning of my cycle (Aug. 20th) but now that I know its helpful we're going to be eating a bit more the next time we go grocery shopping which should be the 8th. I plan to keep it going all through my cycle.
