Count me in on this one! I had no idea lycopene could be so beneficial....and I have a hubby who LOVES tomatoes. So this is right up his alley!

Thanks for posting the list southerngal2. I'm going to go and stock up on lycopene rich foods!

Your welcome yellowstars.

I'm starting today, and I'm going to continue throughout my cycle. I want to keep it in his system so we can have some MEGA SUPER SPERM:spermy:!!!

We're starting Monday :flower: Just going to keep going until we get a :bfp: Mike says as long as I do all the cooking he doesn't mind... lol I do all the cooking anyway

Ha ha ha, I'm really excited about this (I am aware of how sad that sounds!!)

And I have just won a fertility monitor on ebay for £15 whoop whoop bring it on, I am sooo going all out this month

Ok so I have updated the original post and am now waiting to hear how you ladies are getting on and how well your sticking to the plan!

As said yesterday DH and I were out so he had a small glass of guava juice before we went and on the picnic he had water-melon and for dinner he had cherry tomatoes in his side salad! :haha:

Today he has had a glass of guava juice and tomato soup! I am hoping to see an improvement this cycle as I think ovulation is just a few days away!

Just a quick note to let you all know that watermelon is currently half price in Sainsburys at £1.74 - they are huge and 1 is going to last DH and I at least 4 days!

Shantell 12 and yellowstars I need your start date ladies!

I went to Asda last nite and bought a shed load of tomato soup and as a lil treat some tomato and basil (I'm soo nice!!) they are on offer at the moment, 3 tins for £2.

I also bought a load of the tomato based pasta bake, they are also on offer 71p.

Needless to say i got some rather dodgy looks.

Pasta bake for tea last night and soup for lunch today :haha:

Hi just found this thread, may I join please:flower:

DH has issues, prostate issues (enlarged) and sperm issues (99% abnormal shape). Didn't know about tomato soup, will get some along with guava juice asap:thumbup: I love tomato soup, don't know if DH does but I do all the cooking:haha:

Ooooo Quaver - lycopene is also beneficial for men with prostate problems! And of course you can join my darling, I just need a start date from you and then I will add you to the original post!

Thanks!:happydance:
DH is away at the moment, he's back on 8th, so from 9th Sept please!

gives u time to stock up :winkwink: :haha:

Ok Quaver all set! I have used your ticker and estimated that will be CD4?!? If not let me know and I will adjust x

Thanks everyone, I'd love to shrink his prostate so that all the :spermy: can come out OK (he has abnormal viscosity issues too:sleep:).
He needs to see an urologist, but he's delaying...

Gah! Men!

My DH has congenital heart problems so I fully understand what a nightmare it can be getting them to see specialists if they don't want to go.

Perhaps you could book a joint appointment? It is usually male pride, he may be worrying that it is all his fault that you haven't fallen pregnant. Maybe you could suggest getting a once over yourself and he may be a bit more positive towards booking. Just a suggestion
x

I've already had once over at the fertility specialist with internal scans and blood tests etc:winkwink:

Yeah my hubby is convinced me and the pill for 15yrs are the reason were not pregnant yet. I commented the other day that it could be him and he was like, no no I dont think it's me.

I simply told him to get over himself, and we both had to do our equal parts as its a joint venture!!

Yes it is!

I felt so bad when the tests revealed that I wasn't ovulating so DH decided to cheer me up by telling me that he could have issues that we don't know about yet! :dohh: Men!

That's a great DH:hugs:

We had a mc last year, so DH thinks his:spermy:works, even with the terrible semen analysis report:blush:

:haha::haha::haha::haha:
I'm on day 3 of soup, Hubby isnt whining just yet, good job he likes the stuff.

I wonder if we could vary it a bit by using minestrone soup?
