I have a question about the tommee tippe black insulated bottle warmers. Firstly this isn't meant as a debate to if you pre make the bottles or make up feeds freshly- I always have made up a fresh feed as they tell you and always will, for home we have a perfect prep maker machine do feeds are made up on demand freshly. Going out I buy cartons at take boiling water to heat to temp that lo likes it.. This is going to cost me a fortune in cartons as I go out a lot. A friend of mine has a tommee tippee black insulated bottle warmer which she has hot water in the bittle ready and the powder in a little pot.
If you do this how do you get the temp of the water right as she doesn't carry cold water to cool it?
On the website it says
The Department of Health recommends that your baby's feeds are made individually as and when required, so you can simply pop a bottle of water in your Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Insulated Bottle Carrier, and add the formula powder separately at feed time the Tommee Tippee Milk Powder Dispenser is ideal for this.
Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Insulated Bottle Carriers have excellent thermal properties, so they'll keep your baby's bottle cool or warm as required. They're designed to hold Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature bottles, although you can also use them for food jars as your little one grows perfect for feeding on the go.
What do you think ? Is it ok make up bottles this way , how long does it stay at the right temp for ?
