OK so call my crazy but this evening I was brushing DD1s teeth and just happened to be checking in her mouth while brushing her tongue.

It looked as if the back of her tongue was attached to her tonsils somehow ??. As if her tongue doesn't seem free, is this even possible? . Is this normal for a four year old?.

Going to have a better look in the morning. Thanks!

I don't really know what you mean, to be honest! Maybe it was mucus or snot in the back of her mouth making it look funny. I'm pretty sure you would have noticed by now if there was something unusual going on with her tongue, she'd likely have difficulties eating or speaking.

Lol sorry I know it seems really crazy !!.

She is actually under a speech therapist at the minute as her speech is delayed.

Arghh wish I got a better look now. Driving me crazy ! Lol. Thanks for your reply

Well upon closer inspection this morning all seems fine. Although her tonsils and throat are a bit inflamed and red probably a viral thing.

Admin can you please close/delete this thread!. Thanks
