Too early for a positive test?

Ladies I did a test last Friday morning 17/08/2018, don't ask me why, I just felt different in a way. It was Positive.*

The only problem is, my last period was only 19 days ago from today 20/08/2018 ,*which means when I did the test it was a positive 16 days after my period. Surely that isn't right ? I did 2 tests one standard and one digital and they both came back positive.

Also I started a slight bleed today ?

How strong was the positive? It's possible (though not common) to have a period when you're pregnant. Was your last period lighter than normal? It could be that you're seven weeks pregnant, going from the date of your period before last.

You could have gotten a positive 9/10 DPO, which would mean, if it is from this cycle, that you ovulated on day 6 or 7... which is early but also not impossible!

It was a digital test that came back positive. I'm so confused. However the bleeding has continued and got heavier today so I think if I was not longer pregnant.
