DS2 wants a garage for Christmas, any recommendations?
I've seen the elc one is currently half price but any others I should consider? If the elc is the best will they have another sale before Christmas or should I be buying now?

We had the elc big city garage and my boys loved it. It's lasted us a good few years without any breakages so I'd definitely recommend it. We've never looked at any other though so couldn't say if there are better ones

If he's old enough for hot wheels, argos have the mega garage half price for £39.99 at the moment. As well as having the garage part it also has a lot of track and extras like a pit stop, crane etc and comes with 10 cars. Smyths have the normal hot wheels garage for virtually the same price and it comes with no track and just one car, so the argos one is a bargain. Huge box too!

The ultimate garage is on sale at Smyths just now but it's still £80 so I didn't bother.

We had quite a few garages when DS was younger including toot toot drivers, a wooden one and the ELC one. But with hindsight he would have preferred hot wheels and it could have grown with him. He seemed to grow out of the younger ones very quickly.

We have the brio one it's quite small compared to most but fits in to train tracks which is great if your LO likes trains like mine but otherwise one of the bigger ones may be better.
