My son is 2 weeks old. How do I make this transition?
Do I just choose a formula and give it to him? From what I've read it seems like that's what other moms did.

I would like to know this as well...my son is 3 weeks. :)
Congrats to you on your new lo!!

Yep, you can mix it with your breastmilk, top up after a feed, or just give him a bottle here n there.. It should be pretty clear if he will tolerate the particular formula after a good week or so.. You know your baby just do what you think will suit you guys best. Xx

my pediatrician said that we can either alternate between breast and formula each feeding, or start with breast then top up with formula at the same feed. some people start with replacing one feed a day with formula for a few days and see how they go from there. this third method is probably the one that will cause the least breast discomfort.

i, however, had to stop cold turkey for many reasons. I don't recommend it lol.
