How long does it take for pregnyl 10,000iu (trigger shot) to leave your system?

When could I do a HPT and get a true reading?

Hi there. From my research I've discovered that only 40% of the pregnyl shot is absorbed by the body, and then 10% of that 40% is excreted in your urine, that leaves 3600iu in your body.

Pregnyl has a half life of about 33 hours (so ever 33 hours it loses half its concentration). This means it will take 280 hours for your level to drop to 10iu. So that's 11 days and 16 hours in normal talk!

When did you do your trigger?

Alternatively just use internet cheapies and watch the hcg leave your system, then when you've had 2 days of negatives you know if you see a line after that it's probably a BFP!

Hi Pusskins, on my last iui cycle I was testing positive until 10dpiui. It varies very much from person to person though. good luck!

I had the trigger shot at cd12 as I had a 20mm follicle show up on my scan.

So that would means it should be out of my system by cd 24?
