Triple test.....

Afternoon Girls,

I was just wondering about the triple test sat here at work

I remember with my first child 6 years ago i didnt have it, think it was because of my age.

Has anything changed, do you all get offered the triple test? is it free? when do you have it and what does it actually test?

I think most areas if not all still offer it. I've recently had mine. You can have it no matter how old you are I think, if you want it. I figured even though I was worried about the results I'd only worry more if I didn't get it done.

Hi fifi, I have been told i can have the blood tests done to test for Downs etc I think in our area its common practice now (i'm from Yorkshire also).

I think its common practice everywhere

We got this done but we said if the result was a risk we wouldn't go for the test that follows as that one can result in MC but be mentally prepared incase.
