I had a m/c at 17 weeks back in October. In December I had 2 periods in one month and was told I had a chemical pregnancy. In January, my cycle came as usual and we TTC that month. I was supposed to start on 3 Feb and started today (6 days late) instead. I'm so disappointed, I was starting to think I was pregnant.

My question is, has anybody ever had these irregular cycles this long after MC?? Is it normal to develop a cyst on your cervix after MC?? My DH and I never had problems conceiving before, now we are having a very hard time and I feel like my body is failing me!

Have you gone to the Dr yet?? I have an appt next week, I'm SO confused. I think there is a cyst on my cervix that I need to get checked out. I used to never be late, only since the mc.

Think that is what is causin delay in ur period? I just had leep surgery this month to remove some abnormal cells. Im hopin that this is the reason causing me to have a delayed period! Good luck to you! Keep us updated

So sorry for your loss. I can't really answer your questions apart from the cyst on your cervix. I have one. They found it at my first smear test I had when I was 19 (I'm 27 now). I think pregnancy can cause these (I accidentally fell pregnant when I was 17) but my doctor told me it was nothing to worry about. I went for my regular smear test back in August at a private clinic (which my firm pay for) and she said she could see it was still there but it was nothing to worry about. She knew I was TTC so I don't think that will be any issues for getting pregnant.

I've only had one period since my miscarriage which arrived 5 weeks exactly after my ERPC. I think I'm near ovulation now which would mean my cycles are roughly back to pre-pregnancy. Irregular cycles can make it difficult to get pregnant, I'm not sure if there is any other reason than that it is harder to predict when you are going to ovulate. Maybe get yourself some OPKs if you haven't already and that might help. Good luck and, again, sorry for your loss xx

Sorry for your loss as well. I'm going for a check-up tomorrow, I also think it's a cyst. I had the MC in October and am still not back to normal for my cycle. You're right, it is causing difficulties for the ovulation. I'm really hoping to get more answers tomorrow, I'm very nervous. It was just sad to start thinking I was pregnant again, since it came 7 days late.....
