Hi, this is my first time on here. I have 1 son who is 12 and a daughter. I have been trying fro my 3rd baby for a year now and am getting impatient! (I will be 35 in few months)
I am have never had a positive on the cheap ovulation kits so have just splashed out on a clearblue digital monitor and sticks. See if they work. I have also been reading up on things and I'm pretty sure I am progesterone deficient.
My periods are regular but seem to be getting shorter and heavier. Period pains starting approx. a week before it starts.
Up until now I have used cheap ovulation sticks, taken a pre conception vitamin and had lots of sex!!!
Now I will try with progesterone cream, take extra vit B6 and vit C whilst using expensive kit bought!
Any thoughts on any of these? Any do's or don'ts? When do you feel Clomid to be of use - if ever.
Thank You xx

What did you do to get pregnant with the other 2 kids??? Being that I've been LTTTC for 3 years and have no kids I don't think I'll be much help, but didn't want to read and run. Good luck

Hi Marybelle!
I have been trying to conceive for 8 years, for my second child.I have experienced one blighted ovum (july, 2013), and no other pregnancys since we began ttc. I have also been using progesterone cream for my past 6 cycles, my 21 day progesterone test came back at 9.7 without the cream so i figure a little more prog. cant hurt? I have never experienced any negative side effects from the cream, however my period does tend to be a few days late here and there (I am usually 100% regular) which can be hurtful because of course i assume late period, maybe im pregnant? I had my daughter at age 15, yea i kno.. YOUNG. and obviously had NO problems doing so.. have you ever considered looking into seeing if you might have endomeriosis? I found out early 2010 i have between mild-moderate endo, and had a lap with no luck conceiving afterwards (within fertile window dr said most conceive) however I have seen MANY women conceive within months of treatment!! The reason endo came to mind was because you mentioned having pains a week before menses. do you notice any other endo signs??

you need to see your doctor now, he will transfer you to a fertility specialist who will ultra sound you to check for tubal problems, polyps and cysts as well as blood tests for hormone issues they will then set up a plan for you probably starting with clomid if you are suitable

good luck
