Trying for no.1 this fall

Hi everyone! I am new to this and just wanted to see if there's anyone else in the same boat as I am. My husband and I are planning to try this fall for our first.

I'm 28 and just got married earlier this year. My husband was ready to be a dad even before we were married! I sometimes feel he is leaps and bounds ahead of me and I am just starting to get really excited. Can anyone relate to this? I sometimes feel I'm in a different space than most of my friends so can't talk to them. My friends either are not nervous at all and really want kids yesterday! While I want kids and am excited to start trying but am also a little nervous. Or they are the opposite and are not interested in having kids at all.

How's everyone else feeling? I'm at the point where I'm starting to be more excited than nervous and not sure what I should be doing now...
