:flower: Morning beautifuls!

I am so excited. I just got word that my husband got his approval to come home for 2 weeks r&r! We knew about it before so I started taking Soy Iso's the 3rd day of my cycle. I took 160MG from CD 3 - 7. I am now on CD 9! :happydance:

I just got my 100 OPKs in the mail, so I have been testing to make sure it didn't make me ovulate early as I ovulate from CD 15-19 (I think?). I am so thankful that I had zero symptoms from the Soy.

Feel free to post/chat here about anything you've experienced while on Soy. :) I know a friend of mine tried it as well but stopped after one day because she got every symptom under the sun. :nope: Poor thing.

These are the kind I am taking :

I got them at Walmart for about $7. I thought it was such a steal that I bought 2 bottles. Lol. I don't plan on using them for more than three cycles at a time, but with moving to S. Korea soon, better to stock up on them.

I'm starting soy too this cycle! And that is the same brand I just ordered!

How many mg are you taking? What CDs?

I've been on clomid before and it worked first cycle but my insurance won't cover it this go-round. Figured I'll give soy a try... but first, I need my freaking AF to show up!

I took 2 tablets a day from cd 3-7. :) I'm pretty consistent with my cycles ranging from 28-31 days. I'm not sure if I ovulate on my own though? :(

Ooh where did you order yours from?

I ordered mine from Amazon. :)

I am in my portpartume period right now so I have long, weird cycles. This past cycle I got a positive OPK with a clearblue digital smiley on Cd11- early for me- then was in the tww until I started spotting 8 days later at CD19! Spotted from Cd19-CD22 but never any blood, so I started taking OPKs again and got another positive CD40! Today is CD48 and I feel like my AF is coming but who knows, maybe that's just wishful thinking.

So yeah, I really just need some help actually ensuring ovulation. I'm taking vitex too to hopefull lengthen my luteal phase. I'm really hopeful that soy works for me though because clomid worked for me first try last time!

I took them this month CD 4-8 (80, 80, 120, 120, 160). I had some mood swings and headaches, but those were the only side effects I experienced. Once I was done with my 5 days, I didn't have any further symptoms. I'm hoping to O within the next few days :)

I am also starting Soy today, today is CD 3. I think I'll be taking 160 mg! Hopefully it works!!

I took soy isos for the second time, first time I tried them was about 6 months ago and I did 160 mg days 2-5 but I felt horrible and had a really bad acne breakout. So I decided to try them again, this time I did only 45 mg so just one pill on days 2-5, but I can tell that I have way less side effects this time and I can feel ovulation a lot stronger this month, hoping for a BFP for all of us this month!

**praying4alil1- I live in Colorado too :)**

:hugs: Keeping my F'x from you ladies! I really hope it works for all of us. :D
Come to think of it, I was extremely moody on it, only towards my DH though. Poor man. Lol.

I've read that taking them at night can help minimize the side effects- just like Clomid. =)

I got this super random dark OPK this afternoon, I usually don't get a positive until CD 15-16 latest being CD 19. So i'm like Wth? Lol.

Well, that's not yet positive so I'd hang on a minute. :)

I also just got a dark OPK that looks positive- and I'm like WTH, because I've already had TWO positives this cycle!!!!!!!! Grrrr. This is why I need soy, lol!

I don't know! I did have a temp dip today but the thing is- I have already had TWO positive OPKs (Cd11, CD40ish) this cycle! And the last positives looked just like these ones. So it seems like my body is trying over and over to O and just not getting there.

I took my first dose last night around 6 pm and so far no side effects!! I decided I'd do 120, 120, 160, 160 & 200. Hopefully I will be as lucky as some of the other ladies I've seen on these forums that only have to take it one cycle!

Almost there! :) I guess I'm going to ovulate (if I even do ovulate on my own) right on schedule! CD 15 looks like it will be promising!

Hi ladies! I'm on my third day of soy isoflavens...I'm taking them cd5-9....I'm taking 160mg....this is my first time trying them...I have a 16 month old and I nurse her 2-3 times a day....I think it's keeping me from ovulating...I've heard that some nursing moms tried it and got a bfp in that first cycle trying soy....so I'm keeping my fingers crossed...I was temping but I haven't since I started my cycle...but I will probably start tomorrow morning...I made my own thread but no one has replied yet...do any of you ladies know if soy isoflavens will help with the shirt luteal phase? I read that if the soy gives you a strong ovulation then your body kick starts more progesterone thus lengthening the LP? Any comments on that?

I didn't see your other thread but I have a lot of those same issues. I'm nursing as well (my 12m old) and my first cycle postpartum was allllll over the place... erratic temps, short LP with breakthrough spotting, etc.

I've read that SI's don't necessarily help with luteal phase, rather they make you O sooner or make you O, period, if you don't O on your own. From what I've read a LP defect would still have to be addressed in other ways, ie, progesterone cream.

If you are ovulating on your own you could trying taking Vitex instead of SIs. Vitex will help to regulate a cycle and lengthen LP.

Im not ovulating on my own.. giving soy a try... lets see what happens next. Tomorrow is my last dose.
