Noodle, have you tried him on horny goat weed? My OH had problems at times especially when going for long periods of time (tmi sorry). I put him on vitamins with it in it and he hasn't had a problem since. I hope August is your month. Routing for you.

CD28 and no sign of AF. No cramps or tender breasts like I usually have around this time. It's my second month off the pill so maybe my body is still going back to normal. Just can't wait for this cycle to finally end so I can the injections etc.

My dr I'm seeing does acupuncture. Have any of you ladies done it before? I hate needles full stop lol

CathiiNoo - yeah if its only your 2nd cycle off BC your probably just starting to regulate. if you haven't been off the pill that long I'm sure you will be getting a BFP soon.

AF is due tomorrow but no signs of her here either. my luck she will show up right in the middle of my vacation

I hate needles, so no acupuncture for me. Plus, I am a bit of a weenie when it comes to pain and pricks. I have to take deep breathes.

Cathii, It does take a few cycles for everything to regulate itself after BC. I know someone whose husband was deployed (We are military), and her md gave her 3 months BCP to take the last months of his deployment. They were going to try when he got back. She stopped them when he returned and was pregnant within 3 months.

I was just doing research last night on the Horny Goat Weed. I think I'm going to try it. He has a Dr appt today, and I'm almost sure the md will give him a script for Viagra. However, I'd rather avoid it. I'm not sure if that would have any effects on his sperm or fertility. The Dr knows we are TTC though, So I assume he wouldn't give out anything that would effect that.

My friend just announced to me that she's 9 weeks pregnant. To top it off, she got pregnant with a man she was seeing for not even a month AND she was on the injection. She doesn't know we TTC but I'm a little sad that I can't share the same joy although I'm happy for her. A miracle is a miracle.

But soon we will all be sharing our birth stories

I wouldn't of thought Viagra would affect sperm, I believe all it does is increase blood flow to help.

I know how you feel cathiinoo, so many people have fallen pregnant and had their babies in the time we've been trying and they were all not trying. I don't really handle it very well any more tbh, just end up getting upset over it. X

That's what I'm thinking, too. Causing more bloodflow in the body and to sexual organs, shouldn't effect his sperm or semen. I don't think so anyways.

I'd rather be safe than sorry though. I have done a ton of research and couldn't find anything online about it.

Looked at the store for Horny Goat Weed and didn't see any. I'm going to order some online tonight when I get home.

I, too, get upset when I see people announce pregnancies. I know some of them have been trying for awhile.. But the ones who just up and announce they are pregnant and haven't been in the relationship for more than 3-6 months.. It drives me a little batty and makes me extremely sad. I don't even like going on facebook these days.. It's all over the place.

CD 1 today. Had a perfect 28 day cycle surprisingly. Nothing much else to report though. Onto cycle number 2.

I know I'm only on cycle # 2 but I expect this to be a long journey due to OH. I feel really sad for you ladies who've been trying for so long. How's everyone?

Yea, that's what get to me the most, couples who fall pregnant when they've only been together a few months and were not trying.

I have nothing new to report, AF should be ending Sunday/Monday but in till we get OH sorted there's not much point in trying atm. I hope everyone else is good x

The meds will take some time to kick in and work with OH. I think it will take at least 3 months to see progress. I'm joining medical aid from the first September. I can't stand these government hospitals.

We weren't able to get the bond for the house but the owner has agreed to rent it to us for a few months until the bank is satisfied with OH financial statements. Only downside is he wants 5 months rent in advance and the deposit so we hoping to get that money together as quickly as possible.

Wow 5 months in advance that's a lot. It's good that the owner will rent it though until you can buy it yourself.
We have our survey done yesterday so we are one step closer to buying our house x

5 Months in advance is a LOT of money to ask for upfront. Will that be your rent for the 5 months, and you won't need to pay that while living there for those months? That is just an outrageous amount of money. Usually they ask for first and last month's rent with a security deposit. Or something like that.

The owner wants to sell it and is being nice by letting us rent it until we are able to buy. But I also disagree about the 5 months upfront and have told OH to tell him that we want that amount off the bond considering the house was just standing empty before and he was PAYING someone to look after the house until someone could buy it. There's a lot of work to be done so he has charged a deposit so we will maintain the house. If he decides the the money is only to rent and won't come off the bond then the 5 months we pay upfront will be our rent for those months and we just pay the lights and water that we use.

I take it a bond is the same as a mortgage lol, if so then yea it's been approved. The bank is sorting out the last bits of paper work and is hoping to release the funds next week, then it's up to our solicitors to sort the rest out.

That sounds good if it will just count as rent but hopefully they will take that money off the final price x

So I'm finding it difficult to temp in the mornings. I set my alarm for 5 am and half asleep try to find my thermometer which I put right next to my pillow. I battle to find the button to turn it on and end up moving quite a but which obviously isn't good. I'm so not a morning person haha...and my birthday is on Monday and OH got me an early birthday. A dalmation puppy. She is so gorgeous! Pic to follow.

Yea, that's why I don't temp, never tried it but I no I just wouldn't be able to do it lol. I just rely on OPKs.
Omg aww I bet she is lovely, you lucky thing! I love animals lol I have two cats but would like a dog one day to, I'd love to rescue one x
