Worlds longest 2ww, at first I thought I oved cd10, then cd21 had ewcm and thought oh well i mustnt have oved early and i am now, then just when I thought I was nearing the end of my tww cd33 brought cramps and BUCKETLOADS of ewcm, fading off til cd35, cd40 today and I'm like hooray again, nearly out of the tww...go for a shower and what do I find? Ewcm. Seriously!!! So this is the 4th time I'm having signs of ov. Mannnnnn this is frustrating, it's a never ending 2 week wait as I keep thinking I'm ovulating weekly!!

Im really sorry to hear. Seriously dont lose hope, everyone Dr has an opinion with what they are comfortable at giving out. Just go see another one and hopefully they are more understanding. Perhaps even inquire with the lady at reception on the phone prior to booking an apt (if you have to pay for the apt) or better yet see if you can go to a bulk billing dr, thats free.
Just remember the same thing happened to me a month before coming over here, my Dr told me she cant recommend clomid again (when she was giving me new scripts every time for 6 mths) as she thinks i need to go to a specialist instead of a normal Dr. I just went to another Dr, was vague with her (told we had been trying for a long period of time, having had a baby already but found clomid effective the first time so would like a new script as my old one expired)

Im going to laugh, only because you sound like me !! hahahaha. Ive been the exact same lately, the past 2 weeks infact !! Thats why i was like yep im taking provera, at least its structured (not so romantic i know...) and certain. I dont know enough about my body, my cycles etc to rely on it. What are you going to do?

Hmmmm there seems to be conflicting research about soy. When i studied nutrition there seemed to be alot of research that suggested soy was not good for the body, but as im reading up on it now, im the type of person thats open minded and will give anything a shot. If you experience any side effects or feel or think its not working then stop, but least you can say you've tried. If in the end it gives you a baby then who cares for theories say. What form do you buy it in and where? what do you know so far about soy and fertility?

I'm being optimistic that a week ago when I had heaps of ewcm I oved and what I'm having now is either pre AF or early preg discharge. I'm booking an appointment for next wed the 25th to ask my dr about clomid by that time it will have been 2.5 weeks since the last time I was sure I oved so things should be more clear.

To be honest im not sure I know there is loads of different views on it but also a massive thread on here where loads have got there bfp just after a month!!!
All I know is that its supposed to be just like clomid and you take it same days and it'll help you ovulate. Im so unsure I may give my self a lil longer then try take it see what happens what's the worst that could happen... Im already not ovulating so ?? Ofcourse if I dont feel right just like taking anything id quit. But it cant be that bad when its in the vitamin section in Tesco for 30 tablets for £4.

Can i ask where you purchased yours from? How long do you take it for? If it works similar to clomid do you take it on day 3-7 of your period, or anything like that? How much did yours cost?

Why would he say no? Your concerns are all legit, i would be a lil anxious too. Just because you never know what different Dr's will say. There's always other Dr's, i would keep trying until you get the result you want. But hoping this Dr will have no dramas giving you a clomid script. Will you start straight away?
So glad i have other girls along with me on this journey.. had a bit of an emotional day yesterday. WEIRD because i dont get upset, ever. Im always happy and optimistic. (I have a no complaining policy with myself lol) Guess my previous struggle to conceive my first child got the better of me.. the longer your on clomid the decrease in effectiveness, so theoretically your best chances to conceive on clomid would be the first few cycles i would assume.

He could say no because
*im overweight
*i have managed to ovulate on my 2 months ago (chemical)
*im only 8 months post c section/ very traumatic birth (2 blood transfusions) and no I'm not wanting a vbac I want a 2ndcs
*or he may tell me I should go and see a fertility specialist again (expensive and several month waiting list)
I don't know wether to phone him and suss out wether hell do it first before I go in, or if he's got less chance of saying no if I just turn up for an appointment.

i got it from my local health shop, im taking it cd 2-6 and im taking 160mg for the first 3 days and 200 for the last two. ive read so many success stories for people that take it like that. it cost me 16 euro for 30.. but i got it for 13 as my mom is a baker for the health shop so she got it with her discount. so basically 13 for one cycles worth tonight is my third night of taking it

One week til my appointment I just rang my doc cos I was scared I'd get there and he'd say no clomid as I'm too overweight or it's too soon post c section or something, or cos I actually ovulated myself recently...
So I just rang him and said just letting you know I'm coming in for this next week incase you need to refer to Steve at all first (his friend who's a fertility spec he normally talks to if I need something) and he said no its pretty straight forward I just need to give u a script don't I? You know what to do with it.
