I have a 7 seat Zafira which is about 12/13 years old so the middle seat in the middle row only has a lap belt. I would need all 7 seats up to fit baby in when he arrives in October. Which will leave almost no boot space. I'm struggling to find a pram I like that will fit.
DH wanted a roof box but as we have no rails at all atm we'd have to get the roof rails, then the roof bars plus the box and looking at prices, it would be expensive.
Someone told me you can have a full seat belt fitted at a garage into that middle seat.
Has anyone had this done? If so was it at an ordinary garage or does it have to be a specialist? And how much did it cost?
I'm in Kent UK if that will make a difference.

no idea on the swat belt thing but i had/have a petite star zia with DS (pushchair not a pram) and it folds up so small maybe look into that if the seat belt ghing doesnt work x

Ok thanks I will look at that. I'm just being really fussy I think and not sure I'm going to end up with what I want. I want him to be able to face me laying flat. Most of the ones where they can face the parent fold 'in half' rather than umbrella fold and seem to be quite big when folded like that.

i think the quinny is a parent facing or outward facing and that folds as small as the zia (which is not parent facing) x

You can get a three point seatbelt fitted to your zafira but I am unsure of the cost. Phone local vauxhall garage and see what they come up with.
