Hmmm... Odd@ army wife??? Well how long was your cycle? Your period is actually based on when you ovualte, depending on your luteal phase, which is the phase of menstration between ovulation and the first day of your next period. I hope that i didnt make that sound confusing... Based on a "normal period" you would ovulate day 14 and the 28th would be your period witha 14 day luteal phase... So you had af mid cycle???@army wife

Arrielle, I had Af 2/8/11 then I quit smoking cold turkey 2/21/11 and then Af came again 2/28/11. my cycles are usually 30-45 days long. I did a little research and I found that smoking really messes with your hormones and fertility. The only conclusion I could come up with is that my body is bouncing back after I smoked for 3 years. I am interested to see if my cycles become more regular. are you supposed to use opks first thing in the morn? because I havent been....

Lol i hope not cause i havent been, ive been using one mid morning and then again early evening so far theyve been really faint positives, so not had a surge yet! still waiting... hurry up ovulation!! xxx

Ya its best to test mid afternoon opk(lh) and morning for preg {hcg}...ok so you had a twenty cycle@armywife??? Yes smoking does cause problems... I wish i could quit lol... I am trying... I just dont want to gain anyweight lol... But army wife you might want to look at the soy isoflavones or vitex as a quick option and ya i have crazy cycles too. 1) was 46 days 2) was like 36 0r 37 days, but see i know i have pcos and that is common for me, and i think its mild cuz some women with it on gat an at 3-6 times a year or less cause of it. I get at least 9 or 10. Have you been to an ob?

Arrielle, Yeah it was a 20day cycle. It is the shortest I have ever had, that is one reason I think it had to do with my smoking. No I have not been to a ob but the more I hear about PCOS I think I might have it. Your cycles sound very familiar to mine.

TO BE HONEST I JUST RANDOMLY PICKED A DOCTOR AND WENT, MAYBE SOME OF YOUR FEMALE FRIENDS IN YOUR TOWN CAN DIRECT YOU, OR YOUR MOM MIGHT KNOW SOMEONE. MY DAD IS A DOC AND TOLD ME HE SUSPECTED I HAD PCOS AND THAT WAS MY CAUSE OF INFERTILITY.SO I WENT TO THE LOCAL OBGYN AND THEY RAN MY HORMONE LEVELS AND MY LEVELS WERE ABNORMAL. THE DOCTOR TOLD ME IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO GET PREGNANT WITHOUT FERTILITY TREATMENT, BUT I GOT PREGNANT UNEXPECTLY IN 09. AND I HAVE I FRIEND WHO HAS A NOT ONLY GOTTEN PREG WITH PCOS, BUT SHE ALSO HAS A THREE YEAR OLD SON, SO THERE IS HOPE. WELL ARMY WIFE MY CYCLES RANGE ANYWHERE FROM 29-46 DAYS, I NEVER REALLY HAVE HAD ANY SHORT PERIODS THAT I CAN RECALL, I DO KNOW THAT THEY SAY PEOPLE WITH PCOS HAVE OUT OF WHACK PERIODS.MY PERIODS REGULATED AFTER I LOST WEIGHT, FOR THE MOST PART, BUT I DONT THINK I OVULATE SO THAT IS WHY I TAKE CLOMID. BUT ANYWAYS THERE ARE SO MANY TYPE OF HORMONE ISSUES ONLY A DOC CAN TELL YOU FOR SURE. BELLE YA YOULL PROBABLY WILL BE JUST FINE IT TAKES LITTLE SECOND FOR THE BODY TO ADJUST AFTER THE PILL SOME GET PREG RIGHT AWAY OTHERS TAKE SOME TIME, BUT YOU SHOULD BE FINE IF YOU HAD NORMAL PERIODS BEFORE, WELL I SHOULD OVULATE IN 5-9 MORE DAYS SO I SHOULD O FROM THE 13-18TH BUT I AM GOING TO TEST TWICE A DAY ONCE AT 12 AND THEN ONCE AT 6 PM... GRRRRR... A TWO DAY OPK WAIT!!!

Oooo girls i got a strong (not as strong as control line but still v strong!) positive opk this morning at 11.15 so i think i'll be ovulating soon, this is exciting! Hopefully this means that this months cycle is less than 30 days cause its so boring when you have to wait that long

CONGRATS!!! I GOT MINE TODAY TOO, I THINK??? @ 5PM( THE TIME I WAS TAKING MY CLOMID AND SOY) SO NOW I CAN SAY CLOMID WORKS, WOW. I EVEN FEEL LITTLE TWINGES... I AM STARTING TO THINK THAT I RARELY OVULATE... BECAUSE I ACTUALLY NOTICED AT THIS POINT. WE BABY DANCED THIS MORNING AND I AM THINKING ABOUT USING THE EGG...LOL... SERIOUSLY..... MY CM IS GOOD BUT I WANT MORE... SO BELLE WHAT CD WERE YOU ON WHEN YOU OVULATED? DID YOU GET TO BABY DANCE?

Hiii all, long time no speak I am now 5dpo and eagely awaiting the end of this cycle! The funny thing is, this last week me and my OH have kind of fallen into a financial crisis so it would be the worst time to get caught. Never mind, beggars can't be choosers!

well i guess i am 2dpo i started progestrone cream last night at 10:30pm. they say you ovulate up to 36 hours after a positive opk so i started the cream at about 35 hours or so... i am excited because i am hoping to be able to test 4-1-11. good luck plz keep me posted!!! 2ww.... baby dust!!!

you can start testing in a few days!!! The wait makes us crazy, I know. but everyday is one step closer to that BFP.

Im positive about this month but I don't want to get too excited. It was my first round of Clomid and not sure how my body will react to it. So I dont want to get my hopes up too high.

But maybe next month the Easter bunny will bring me something special in my basket.....LOL!

Hey ladies i finally ovualted i had cramps on my left side the 18th and got a strong positive opk the 19th then it faded by 10pm... I thought i ovulated the 15th but i am for sure that was ovualtin because of the mild pain and the fact that i no longer have a postive opk...my lh went waaaaayyyyy up and drooooopppeeeddd wayyyyy down...lol!!!ill be testing on april fools day lol... How are you doing belle are you feeling anything? Rn have you started opk's yet??? Rn with my clomid i didnt really feel a thing until around the time i actually ovulated!!!

Yeah, Im obsessed. I started my OPKs around CD6. Just because Ive read that some woman on Clomid have O'd on early CD's. So I just dont want to miss it. I havent felt anything yet. Hopefully in a few days.
Im so impatient. I want to O already but then Im just going to be obsessing about testing for the important BFP. LOL. It's making me crazy.
